Buon soggiorno

Es war eine spontane Idee den Weihnachtsmarkt Colmar zu besuchen. Das Hotel hat uns dabei geholfen, ein wunderbares Erlebnis zu genießen.

This was a last minute reservation and the hotel was very accomodating. We ordered a triple room and they offered us a double and single for same price. Quite a walk from the Christmas market; but, we had been walking all day, so it wasnt an issue. The train station was across the street so that would be very convenient for some. I loved our balcony!

Newly renovated, convenient to Christmas Markets, breakfast buffet had good selection, friendly staff.

Great location

Good location for the Christmas markets, just a 10-minute walk. Across the street from the train station. Good breakfast but would expect some hot options for that price. Clean rooms. The twin beds pushed together were a bit awkward for a couple. Warm shower with good water pressure.

The hotel was nice however cleaning service did not refresh the sheets. There was only one person supposedly working in the hotel and we had trouble getting a playpen for our child and was initially told we wouldn’t have one if she couldn’t find it. Breakfast was good and the hotel was walking distance to everything

The location is great and the facilities are great. The room is spacious and comfortable. However, when we checked out (26/12/24 in the morning) we were treated very badly by a receptionist (a young man with light, curly hair). We had some questions about our bill during Christmas dinner and we noticed that he was uncomfortable answering us a few times. When I asked to check the bill, he handed it to me with the utmost disdain. Furthermore, at one point, he made a bad face when my 2-year-old daughter was crying! This attitude of his bothered us a lot, as guests. Otherwise, we had a good stay at this hotel. We just hope that the reception staff is better trained to clarify any questions we may have, after all, it is our right.

Stayed here for 4 nights to go to the Christmas markets in the surrounding area. Very nice hotel, convenient to many locations (Colmar, Strassbourgh, etc.). Easy to walk to Petite Venice in Colmar and right across the street from the train station. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood as well as a great bistro in the hotel.

We took the train from Paris to Colmar and stayed at the Grand Hotel Bristol for two nights. The hotel is located less than a minute's walk from the train station and is about a 20 minute walk from the Colmar tourist area. The check-in staff was amazing and assigned us to a Classic Room per our reservation. The room was reasonably sized for a European hotel and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide variety of American and European breakfast choices, including: scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, a variety of fresh breads, and more. It was delicious and a great way to start the day. We also dined in the on-site restaurant one night. The food was very good with a variety of dishes to select from, generous portion sizes, and was reasonably priced. I recommend a reservation because the restaurant was very busy (with a tour group and others), but the staff was able to find us a table. We only encountered one issue. I woke one morning at around 0100 and wanted to go for a short walk. The front doors to the building were locked so that no one could leave or enter the hotel and a note was on the reception desk stating the night clerk would return in a short time. After 30 minutes of waiting and searching, I finally found the night clerk prepping a conference room for the next day. I was concerned that there was a safety issue for the guests inside and with guests out late being locked out.

Hôtel très agréable. Très bien situé à seulement 10 min à pieds des Marchés de Noël. Parking à proximité pour 3€ par jour. Petit déjeuner très bien. Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Le personnel est très sympa et accueillant. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Location is fantastic, across the street from the train station and an easy 15-20 minutes walk to the Christmas markets. Although they do offer transportation by bus to them. Beautiful and clean hotel. Staff awesome too.

Very convenient to take bus to xmas market. And to the train station. While room was fine. But no phone. Also bathroom was soooo small.

We were upgraded to a suite! Fabulous Very comfortable bed and appreciated the space. Very easy to walk, catch the bus or train.
