Hotel Carasco

Schöne Lage, grosser Pool, freundlicher Staff und toller Service. Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter und es ist nicht mehr alles bedient. Dennoch ist die Atmosphäre toll. Waren mit zwei Kindern da.

Amazing location, but the hotel is way overdue for renovation especially in the common areas. Staff was very helpful, but policies like having to pay 3 euro for a beach towel and every time you wanted it washed are at least strange. We had a nice stay overall. It could have been great if the owners would have made the much needed reinvestments.

Vi var fire på tur og endte reisen på Lipari. Vi ble møtt av en hyggelig man i resepsjonen og fikk mange gode tips av han. Hotellet virker som ligger langt unna byen, men det er bare en kjapp gåtur på 10 min. Hotellet har en fantastisk utsikt og et flott uteområde med basseng. Hele familien var fornøyd.

Middelmådigt hotel. Værelserne var af ringe standard og især toilettet var både halvklamt og lugtede af kattepis. Vasken var stoppet og brusehoved trængte i dén grad til en afkalkning. Vandet gik også en dag midt i et brusebad. Morgenmad var lækker, men det kunne være svært at finde et klargjort bord. Omgivelserne var smukke og udsigten fra solsengen var smuk. Personaler var virkelig søde, men også temmelig forvirrede, så der var sjældent klar besked eller styr på tingene.

Beautiful location with a great swimming area right on the water. Very friendly staff and convenient shuttle to and from the port.

Outdated facilities. No hot water. Room not very clean. Food in restaurant subpar. Location and views are outstanding.

wonderful location and helpful staff. Luigi brought us breakfast before breakfast time the day we were leaving early. jumping in the sea before breakfast and dinner is priceless...

Great rooms, stunning balcony views, really helpful front seats staff. It’s a truly beautiful hotel! The live music on Saturday nights is fun. The pool is beautiful and actually warm enough to swim in. The stairs down to the sea are nice and the swimming is fabulous. The older gentleman who offers shuttle rides to the port is so sweet and helpful. Unfortunately there is a total disconnect with the food and beverage team and the rest of the amazing staff. The breakfast that is included with your room, is supposed to run until 10:30, but you should really plan to be finished by 10:00, because that’s when the staff starts to break everything down and nothing gets refilled throughout the service, unless you ask. Every single day for 5 days, we had to ask for the tea caddy to be stocked and for the hot water to be filled. The regular water was also empty. The person working the breakfast isn’t interested in your experience at all. There are some very nice pastries but they are fairly picked over by 10:00, including the pool attendant collecting a large platter to place on the pool bar for throughly the day. There is not one single vegetable (not one!) and the fruit selection is very minimal, sliced oranges and 1 other rotating item. Most mornings, I just asked for a couple hard boiled eggs and that’s all I ate. After watching this for 4 days, on the 5th day, the breakfast host wouldn’t even give me a hard boiled egg. I did tell him I couldn’t eat anything else, but it didn’t matte

Hôtel des années 60 qui est une institution sur l'île de Lipari. Piscine agréable et accès privé à la mer. Chambre spacieuse bien qu'un peu vieillotte mais cela a son charme. Le personnel est très sympatique et donnent volontiers des explications et conseils de visites. Petit-déjeuner avec des produits frais et des gâteaux maison.

Emplacement exceptionnel pour cet hôtel situé en bord de mer. Vue splendide. Personnel sympathique. Établissement propre. Mais le confort dans les chambres pourrait être amélioré avec quelques petits travaux. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Super friendly staff, front desk, waiters/waitresses, drivers (Lillo and Giovanni), however a few disappointments, too. We are warned not to drink the tap water, but no bottled water is supplied (except for a fee). The air conditioning did not work on arrival but could not be fixed until the next morning. Wi-Fi works well... or not at all.

We had a really good time!!! The hotel is not the latest out of the box, but well maintained and looked after (clean). The service - all staff was very polite and did their best to ensure you have a pleasent stay. The restaurant - well, the food and service was good, I personally would recommend to introduce a slightly more informal style rather than trying for Michelin stars. Drop the bling bling style and focus on your customers as if they are here regularly. Almost like family. Location - it certainly is of walking distance to town centre, it takes a day though to get used to the hilly landscape. But hey, after being in town for dinner it's nice to have a little walk for the food to settle! Walking time: 15-30 minutes (it's an amazing little town with tiny alleys and plenty of little things to investigate. So why run?) I really enjoyed my time there and sure I'll be back for a second visit - to Lipari and also Hotel Carasco!

Service good, hotel a bit old and basic, room overpriced!

Die Lage des Hotels ist einzigartig. Der Blick vom Frühstückstisch auf der Terrasse auf das Meer und den Ort Lipari ist nicht zu übertreffen. Der Ort ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Jederzeit steht aber auch kostenfreu eiin Shuttle-Bus zur Verfügung.

Great location, a reminder of past glory. Also quite a journey to reach from town. Renting a scooter recommended. The restaurant is probably the worst we've been to in Italy, especially for breakfast - even by low Italian standards. Sour service and terrible choice of low quality food.

Struttura su un posto incantevole. Il servizio, il ricevimento e la pulizia delle camere sono ottime. Struttura attempata. Una maggior scelta per la prima colazione sarebbe utile.

Die Lage des Hotels über dem Meer mit direktem Zugang und schönem Salzwasserpool ist einzigartig. Der Service und das Personal sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Zum Hafen besteht ein Shuttlebus. Das Mobiliar und das Bad ist ein bisschen älter (dunkles Holz), die Betten jedoch sehr bequem. Im Schrank befindet sich ein kostenfreier Safe und im Zimmer ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Umwerfend ist die Frühstücksterrasse über dem Meer, in der Sonne.

This unique setting is wonderful. With direct access to the emerald waters below and a sparkling pool, you won’t find a better setting. The views from the dining room and terraces are stunning. Lovely staff too. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Such a beautiful setting right on the sea! The chance to walk from the pool into the sea from the rocks was spectacular! A beautiful place and our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer. We would love to come back one day. What a helpful staff for us in a foreign place
