Holiday Inn - the niu, DAIRY HAARLEM, an IHG Hotel

Very comfortable accommodation with nice and friendly staff.

I have stayed here a few times now and have enjoyed it each time. This time unfortunately there was a problem with the Hotel not having Hot Water for 3 / 4 days and this meant that Hot showers were not available. There was also another minor problem with the Fire Alarm going off at 4.30am one, this is turned out to be a false alarm, and this was dealt with by the Management and Staff without any great fuss. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to avoid the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam but still be close enough to experience it.

It was well located, a short distance from the main square. The hotel was modern and comfortable.

Nice hotel, very clean, very comfortable.We've stayed there twice. Roads in immediate vicinity are a bit pedestrian unfriendly, but manageable (and hardly their fault!) No fridge, you may want to know if important to you. Staff are lovely and helpful.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, muy cerca del centro del pueblo. Muchas opciones de bares, restaurantes, comercios cerca. La habitación en la que estuvimos estaba correcta, el baño muy pequeño pero el gran problema que encontramos es la temperatura en la habitación. Es la primera vez que estamos en un hotel en esa zona de europa en la que pasamos frío dentro de la habitación, imposible salir de la cama al baño y no tener frío. El aire acondicionado en modo "heating" no alcazaba una temperatura de confort. La primera noche lo come también recepción y subieron pero la temperatura aunque mejoró nunca llego a ser lo suficientemente cálida, nos ofrecieron mantas extras pero el problema no era cuando estabas en la cama, sino cuando estabas fuera de ella. El colchón de la cama tampoco era nada cómodo, demasiado blando. En cuanto a la limpieza las toallas estaban siempre húmedas porque como no había suficiente temperatura en la habitación no se secaban. Solo sustituían alguna y a partir del primer día nunca volvieron a poner la toalla de suelo para salir de la ducha, con lo cual siempre teníamos una toalla menos disponible.

Lovely hotel in perfect central location. Very clean and staff helpful and friendly. No complaints at all and would definitely recommend this hotel and return ourselves.

Stayed three nights the Marathon weekend. So glad we did. Haarlem is lovely and great to dip in and out of Amsterdam which was packed. Travel is super easy and all close to the hotel. The Holiday Inn was perfect- very clean, great bed and shower so great value. Would really recommend as a way of visiting Amsterdam.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable, not too hard not to soft.

It was really convenient. Only reason to not get five stars is that the front- desk staff is pretty sparse. They were helpful but seemed restricted on account of being alone. The amenities were not not all usable due to low staff. Also, I bought a bunch of touristy gifts and there was no bag for me to bring it up to my room: so night watch guy had to lock down the building and carry up in his own arms what I could not. Possible for you guys, when having a well-stocked gift shop, to have some grocery-like bags provided for 25 cents or something? The size of the room was great, and the hotel as in a perfect location.
