Simple Stay Jongro

Loved that it was close to a lot cafes and restaurants. Small clean rooms.

Great place if you are looking for a simple arrangement that is convenient. It is absolutely great for a solo traveler. It is in one of the most walkable locations to many places, especially for tourism. The dining options are excellent and are just right next to the hotel. There are many close convenient stores as well. The included breakfast and pre-checkin luggage holding service were a nice touch. Would recommend.

I came back because I liked it so much when I stayed there before. I stayed so well again this time.

Good service

I had a wonderful stay at Simple Stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, all the time ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast, though simple as the hotel name simple :) , was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. I would highly recommend this hotel looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience. In the future, If I can come back to Korea, I will come back here again!

I love here, Cozy stay. The restaurants nearby were delicious, and the subway was very close!

It’s very very small hotel

Good breakfast options, has both keycard and phone room access so if you forget your keycard or phone, you can still open your room door. Clean room with the option to sign in to netflix on TV. Great area.

部屋は綺麗に見えたが、3日間最後までタオルシーツの交換がなかった。畳んで誤魔化されていたが、しわなどでよく分かった。足拭きは交換されていたが、ベッドの上に置かれていた。バスタブがなく、かなり狭かったため横のトイレも床も水浸しになった。朝食は良かった。受け付けは良くしてくれたが、日本語が全く通じなかった。夜スタッフへの電話が繋がらない時があり困った。

鏡張りは怖かった

It was a four-person room, but it was spacious and comfortable. There was also a clothes dryer, which was helpful in getting rid of the garlic smell from my clothes. However, the bath was unusually large and I couldn't fill it with hot water. Why is the bathroom so spacious?

평가가 높아 너무 기대를 하고 갔나 봅니다. 먼저, 방음 문제, 너무 시끄러웠어요. 비단 바깥 소리 뿐만 아니라 실내에서 나는 기계소리 같은 것도 너무 거슬렸습니다. 방음 등 여러 목적이 있겎으나 문을 열자마자 신발을 벗고 들어가며 또 다른 문이 있었는데요, 매우 좁아서 놀랐고, 단차도 읶어서 놀랐습니다. 문제는 조명을 조절하는 스위치가 그 문 박에 있다보니 자다 화장실 갈 때마다 문을 열고 불을 키고 끄는 불편함이 있었습니다. 밤새 껴놓기에는 너무 밝았으며, 밤새 꺼놓자니 넘. 어둡다는 단점도 있었습니다. 이렇게 되어 있다면 화장실 공간과 침대 옆에 노출되어 있는 등이 별도로 조절되었더라면 좋았을 것이라는 생각입니다. 최악은 자다가 너무 추워서 어떻게 해야 할지 몰랐다는 점입니다. 자던 식구들 모두 추워 깼는데요, 실내에서 조절할 수 없었으며, 결국 호텔측에 연락을 취해야 했는데 방이 따뜻해지기까지 30분 이상 소요되었습니다: 너무 추워 다시 잠을 취하지 못하고 거의 한 시간을 뜬 눈으로 지새웠네요. 참고로, 월풀 욕조가 있었어요… 노출되어 있어 무척 당혹스러웠는데… 사용은 좋았으나 사용하는 동안 환풍기가 고장이 나 방 안이 무척 더웠으며… 그대로 잠이 들얶으나 스팀이 다 빠져나가자 실내 온도를 알 수 있었죠. 장점은 핸드폰을 이용한 문 개방, 늦은 시간까지 운영하는 주변 맛집들, 가까운 대중교통, 작은 규모지만 신선한 아침 식사였습니다. 외국인들이 많이 사용하던데 좀더 시설을 개선했으면 하는 맘입니다. 얼핏 보면 싸구려 모텔을 조금 개조한 느낌이었습니다. 아침 식사 장소도 너무 추웠습니다.

The surroundings of the location is not good. Cleaner doesn’t replace bed sheets and they left it as same, for the entire 5 day stay.

I could have maybe viewed the pictures a little closely but the rooms are tiny and it’s a wet bathroom. The sink is right next to the bed which also doesn’t really make sense. Anyway, we left after one night and booked other accommodation. Let the staff know, and although they were friendly, they did not provide any sort of refund.

The location was excellent. Very central close to public transport. The staff were excellent, went out of they're way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Room well heated and quiet. I would come back here again

It was a simply perfect day! All the restaurants around were delicious, and the owner of the hotel was kind. The small, clean room kept me safe. CHILL!!

Great place for resting - very connected to popular areas and close to a metro station! Super clean and staff was really nice

Good budget hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. Room and breakfast were very good. Close to subway. Lots of tourists stay in the area. Neighborhood is a bit run down though.
