Hotel Scheuble

Room across the street from the library (302) strong street noise window does not insulate from noise at all. Very poor wifi, unreliable for Zoom work meetings. OK 3 start hotel, OK breakfast (basic). Small room (double but feels like single. Clean and calm. Don't expect bathroom privacy Very good location.

Hotel Scheuble was a great choice to explore Zurich. In the heart of the city with good walking distance to restaurants, shops and historical sites. Hotel was cute and cozy.

Extremely small room

Good stay for the price! Good location and room layout was nice for traveling. Would just say it was a bit stuffy in the room but it was nice to be able to open the windows. Overall good stay.

Well appointed safe hotel, a gem yet still near the station

Hotel was very convenient to train, museums and opera. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was terrific - delicious, varied and in a lovely atrium setting. Would definitely return and/or recommend!

This is an establishment with a special soul, since it has been a place of lodging and hospitality for almost 150 years, and it has made sure to honor and conserve all that invaluable past in the excellent, modern version that it is now offering to its guests. You can feel that wonderful past, everywhere in the building. It is also reflected in the flawless behavior of the members of the staff. The young ladies at the Reception will really made us feel as if we are in your home, or visiting some relatives… The one in charge of the breakfast, the same. A maintenance lady whom we encountered was also very helpful, with a large smile on her face. Btw, you must use the stairs, at least once (on your way down, if you worry about your knees…). Do it slowly, looking at all the history of this wonderful place, integrated to its tasteful décor. It will make you feel warm and peaceful, in your mind and in your heart. This hotel is also very well located, at the heart of Zurich's Old Town. It is clean, quiet, very well managed and operated. The rooms are fairly priced. And do not waste time in the morning, going out to look for some other place to have your breakfast, if it is not included in the price of your room. The breakfast offered by this hotel is high quality. It has a very nice and generous self-service section, plus an excellent service for the à-la-carte preparation of your omelet. Staying in this hotel increased our enjoyment of the beautiful city of Zurich.

Arrived late, but was met by a very helpful staff. Stowed luggage with them for most of the following day, and picked it back up without a problem. Friendly, clean, stylish and centrally located.

Ótima localização e muito boa hospedagem. Para quem tem sono leve, pode não ser boa opção, pois é perto da igreja (Predigerkirche), com barulho de sino durante aa noite toda, de hora em hora.

Great area, we stayed for one night and explored locally then walked to the nearby train station in the morning with no problem. Hotel was clean and quiet, the staff were friendly and kind.
