Great little hotel with an excellent view of the lake and mountains! Two things you should be aware of:
1. Bring soap
2. The driveway up to the parking and reception is VERY steep.
Host is very nice and breakfasts were lovely.

Die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen!
Grösse des Zimmers ist gut, aber man sieht, dass hier seit Jahren nichts mehr renoviert wurde. Die Matratzen haben ihre beste Qualität hinter.
Doch das schlimmste war die Temperatur im Zimmer: maximal 16 Grad! Bei einer Aussentemperatur von -8 Grad!

Misleading on distance to hotel from train /bus station. They said a 10 minute walk but had to take a taxi that cost $30.00 one way. It was a couple miles away. Spent over $100. on taxi service while there. Hotel was more of a hunting lodge with no less than 15 stuffed animals and birds in the lobby and dining area. Very nice carpentry work throughout. Nice views.

Hôtel très décevant et ne correspondant pas à la description sur le site: il est noté hôtel restaurant mais pas de restaurant ni de bar; nous sommes accueilli par le propriétaire qui ne parle pas Français comme cela est indiqué et il faut arriver avant 17h sinon aucune possibilité de récupérer la clé. Aucun personnel n'est présent hormis le propriétaire; c'est lui qui prépare le petit déjeuner qui est plutôt moyen avec un mauvais café. L'établissement comprend 3 niveaux mais compte tenu des décrochés il n'y a pas d'ascenseur!!
La chambre n'était pas à la hauteur du prix, seul point positif la vue sur le lac. Produits de salle de de bains minimum( petits savons) et il a fallu réclamer du papier toilette. Pas de réfrigérateur pas de boisson offerte. La connexion internet est ce mauvaise qualité et saute souvent( trop de connexions?)
La propreté générale laisse à désirer: nombreuses feuilles au sol, herbe poussant à travers les dalles, parasols déchirés.

DAs Hotel ist in die ahre gekommen, hätte aber Charme. Was wir wirklcih vermisst haben ist zumindest die Bar, die in der Ausschreibung drin ist, aber nicht in Betrieb, wie auch das Reataurant, was man eher noch verkraften kann.
Bei dem schönen (kleinen) Balkon wäre es noch schön, wenn man einen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer hätte oder Eis bestellen könnte, um dort bei einem Drink die Aussicht zu geniessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und der Chef, Sergey, der auch bediente, sehr freundlich.

Nice little hotel, old and with a bit too many stuffed, dead animals on the walls where you eat (yes I know it’s a hunting theme hotel, but still)
Owner is a quiet, calm guy - do not own service mind at all, but a fine man, he does the job, and prepare a good simple breakfast, with good ingredients, lovely cheese and bread!
The hotel has a good location with a swimming spot just outside at the lake, and relatively good locations, for driving to Interlaken and Grindelwald (where we went for hikes)
