Smelled clean when we walked into the room. Bed cover had small holes. Good for a night.

Perfect hotel experience

SAFETY…. People…. SAFETY. THE DEAD bolt didn’t work, the safety lock didn’t work AND the sliding glass door DID NOT LOCK.

This hotel is in terrible shape. We booked this thinking Wyndham would be at least okay. I was wrong. This hotel is very run down. I should have left when they asked for a deposit of 100 dollars when I was checking in. I asked if this was a pay by the hour hotel or do a lot of people trash rooms and just leave. The front desk woman was pretty patient with my questions. But when I checked out room 112 it was bad. Ceiling tiles in the hallway were missing and water was dripping into a bucket in the hallway on the way to the room. The hall carpet had a raised ridge in the center all the way down the hallway. when I went in the room the couch was old looking the main ceiling light did not work and the bathroom had a dead bug I think was a cockroach in the bathtub. I turned down the room and she took me to see room 209? I think. The balcony door was not locked the couch was rough but my wife said its late and we need to eat so I took it. But after getting our luggage in we realized the deadbolt was not working stuck solid so I flipped the extra safety ball lock and the ball was missing from the door. Nothing but the keypad keeping us safe. The walk up to come into the side of the hotel had a trash bag torn open on a patio and a grill on another patio. There had to be several hundred cigarette butts strewn on the bank and the parking lot close to the ramp. Just terrible. I had to slide several pieces of furniture against the door before my wife could sleep with all her clothes on.

I needed a temporary place to stay and Baymont was a wonderful choice. Reasonable rates, very comfortable and quiet. The room was quite large and had a king-sized bed

Attendant was not pleasant. The only fee mentioned only was the $25 pet fee. But they require $100 deposit. They must disclose this also. It’s misleading. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I have not came across one that requires a deposit except for this one. Most places just need your credit card in the system for incidental. But they don’t collect a cash deposit. What if all I had was the room fee? Were they going to not let me stay? Whoever manages this facility, definitely need to reevaluate his management. You can’t make money if all guests see are reviews with issues.

You get what you pay for - a cheap stay but clean. The room, sheets, and towels were laundered. Soap, shampoo & conditioner was supplied. Showerhead was pleasant. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Otherwise, there were old stains on the ceiling, curtain, and beds. The fridge worked fine, the tv worked (small, not smart). The location is great for visiting Bay City, right off I-75 and still close to town but before you can smell the sugar beet factory. It would have been nice to have room service for the 3 nights and days we stayed, but we did fine. No concerns with safety here. Always prepare for bed bugs no matter what hotel, but this room seemed OK.

The end look ran down and deserted. The parking lot the entry door everything is dirty you can tell it has not been swept and so long even going into the hallway so dusty and gloomy looking the bed was comfortable and the floor was new but everything else was very old I will not stay here again it reminds me of a cheap motel with no care for detail. The time I went the weather was a bit chilly so I decided to turn on the heat in the room why did I do that I thought I was going to have to run out the smell that was coming from the heating unit was horrible

The property was terrible. It had a smell in the hallways. It was trash outside rooms. It was just an all over bad experience. Will NEVER stay there again. It’s not worth the money.

When we arrived, we had to phone someone to come and register us. There were to be 2 rooms under one name, and we had to register each room separately. The rooms had a smell to them and the rooms could have been dusted. The rim under the toilet in the bowl was dirty. There was no hair dryer in the room. There was just an ick factor to the whole room.

BED BUGS stay away. I had to leave and they don't want to refund my money. Won't use Expedia or Baymont. I do have photos and video and a note on my receipt about the bed bugs.

The sheets were stained, there was what looked like blue hair dye on the shower walls and shower curtain. The building itself was dirty, carpets were not clean, furniture in common areas in very poor shape, the key card didn’t work for the door leading to parking lot so I was forced to walk to the front of the building at night alone to get to my room. Night clerk had to be called so I could check in. The room itself was newly remodeled, just not the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed and I will not be staying here again

We didn’t stay the night here, we drove 3 hours back home because of how dirty our room was. There were human hair shavings on the wall of the shower, the toilet wasn’t clean around the base and the curtains and floor were dirty. We didn’t want to chance sleeping in the sheets because given our other clues like what I listed and the room smelling so strong of cigarette smoke even though we asked for a non smoking room, it wasn’t worth the risk.

It was no bad. It was good enough for the night stay.

While the room was clean and comfortable, poor security raised potential problems. While walking down to our room, we noticed other room doors slightly propped open, as was our room door. We briefly wondered if the room was even ready or someone else was in the room. Also, the outside security doors that you "should" have to use a room key to get in did not work properly. Door #1 was not locked at all and door #2 card reader was broken, would not read atr all, therefore the door was left propped open, potentially allowing a non-guest to sneak into the building. How do we know someone didn't get into one of the open clean rooms and use the bathroom or take a nap on the bed? Can you see how this could happen? The room price was great, the room was clean and comfortable, but for safety reasons we're not sure if we would stay there again. Sincerely, Mat and Terri Wellnitz Big Rapids, MI

Dirty. No lock on door. No curtain in shower. Mold growing on side of fridge. Bedding was dirty and the pillows were a yellow color

I felt unsafe staying at this hotel. People partying outside listening to music, doing illegal activity. When I checked into the room, there were people on our balcony drinking and screaming. Front desk accommodated my request for another room and said he understood. Room is dirty, walls and ceiling have holes. Bathtub rusted. I have two small children and my 8 year old even asked if we could go somewhere else because he felt unsafe. Not a good family facility.
