Nice hotel, comfortable, clean and in very good condition. The breakfast was awesome!! Great start to the day with a lot of variety. Very close to the French Quarter, 10-15 minute walk. Didn’t rent a car and never felt it was necessary. Also close to the Superdome and Smoothie King arena. Very convenient area.
The area has a lot of homeless people sadly but it is directly in front of a police station so it does not feel unsafe.

Everything was accceptable. It was very cold outside and we could not get the heat to work. The light came through the bottom of the door and lit up the room when we were trying to sleep. The breakfast was adequate.

Room was not ready by check-in time. Took a down size to get a room in a relatively timely manor. Found heat and thermostat did not work. Had housekeeping knocking at our door almost an hour before checkout time.

I was traveling for my birthday it was very difficult to add a guest to my room initially but that worked out. The front desk staff was nice but when we requested our room to be cleaned with the 24 hour policy they didn’t make or change the beds. We stay 4 nights and requested once and when we asked to get the sheets changed the cleaning department the were reluctant. The front desk staff was reassuring. The carpet also had visible stains. I wouldn’t allow mg dog to sleep on the pull out bed so I’m glad we upgraded to a double. Also the hotel was a little dangerous it a large homeless population that is unfortunate. For the price I definitely could have stayed somewhere else.

The check-in process was a hot mess. We waited 30 minutes to check in, unlike some of the "unlucky" ones before us who had been there for hours. This was the last game of the Saints' season, so surely they had practice with this before, not to mention tourism is the backbone of the New Orleans economy.
The rooms were great, especially loved the kitchenette although we ate out most of the time. However, there was a horrible smell in the hallways that made the trips to and from the rooms an ordeal.
Get rid of the smell and improve the check-in process and you get 5 stars. Make that 4 and three quarters. When we went to check-out, it seems we had already been checked out. Guess that's why the maid just barged into the room at 9:30 without even knocking.

Loved the security. Our little suite was very cozy, but the modern partial fixed glass shower dppr gets water all over the floor. Couch is not comfy, hassock is ridiculously small. But our bed was perfect and we caught up on our sleep from the previous bad hotel mattress. For gluten intolerant guests, not much to eat at breakfast. Coffee had burned taste. Loved our kitchen, especially since we caught cold and needed hot soup. Very urban environ SO close to the Superdome! Did not feel safe at night outside. Had trouble finding great restaurants at reasonable prices, could have used help. So much premade, frozen, and awful food, and our cab driver has a brother at Emeril's and knew why!

Good location with major bus hub right out front. Adequate for a couple who only needed a decent place to slepp while in New Orleans. Breakfast got crowded, but we were there at a very busy time of year.

Very comfortable and nice. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and was decent in terms of hotel breakfasts. The was rust around the door frames in the room and the curtains were gross looking, but otherwise the room was clean and worked well enough for our purposes.

The staff was awesome.
Location was great, but didn't like seeing all of the homeless camping out across the street.
Breakfast was good, but very crowded which to be expected.
