I did not read reviews before booking this property (only looked at pictures, which were very misleading), so this is on me. The hotel is not what I would expect from a Baymont. It was completely rundown. People were loitering all around, the elevator control panel was working but falling apart, doors that should have been secure were not locking, the bedding and towels were super thin (though clean). It was as clean as it could be, but my room looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. The staff was nice enough, but I did not feel safe there and immediately checked out.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures on Expedia will not match with what you will see in the room. I had initially booked for 3 night but couldn’t stay in for a night after I seen a roach on the wall. I asked for a refund and they only refunded me for one night which is not a fair deal. If you will take my advice do not book this hotel. The rooms are dirty too!

Bed bugs and roaches everywhere was moved to the 3rd floor because they said its better and the same things upstairs wouldn't recommend

The place was extremely sketchy! For the price we decided to give it a chance! BIG MISTAKE!! I was woke up during the middle of the night being bitten by BED BUGS!! Do NOT stay here!!

Great price and convenient to campus Could use some attention to detail in room but overall was okay

There was no toilet paper, no tv remote, and im pretty sure there may have been bedbugs because i woke up every morning with a big irritated (looked like) insect bite in a different place. No way to exit left on the main road to reach the highway.

Place was absolutely filthy. Elevator felt like it was moments from falling apart. Found trash and what appeared to be drugs behind the night stand. Low water pressure. Keys didnt work half the time. All around a terrible experience. If you are in a pinch I HIGHLY recommend finding literally anywhere else.

Had to go to front desk 3 times upon arrival as my card didn’t work. Had water to take shower, was only able to wash up

my daughter had to come down to have the key replaced. It smells of cigarettes badly and it's freezing like the window has been open all day. After moving us next door we had to go back down and exchange the key and change the sheets.The phones did not work, the remote didn’t turn on the tv. Then upon checkout in the morning we found our car with window shattered had been broken into overnight. A police report had been made but we had not been notified.

Property had roaches, the person on duty quickly changed our rooms but later I noticed the second room had roaches also. The hotel served it's purpose it was close to the concert I attended at the Palace Theater, and it had smoking rooms. But definitely had roaches.

They had to switch my room multiple times finally on the third room it was okay I guess except for it's stunk like cigarettes so bad. The one room the heat didn't work at all. Bad area

It was horrible I paid on line when I booked it then I get there and the guy tells me I have to pay a $50 deposit I asked him after I already paid? He said yes

There were crack heads everywhere. No pool at all and they didn't even come bring us towels. There was no trash can in the room and it smelled. People up to all hours of the night banging on walls and slamming doors waking my child up.

My stay there was good, just had to get switched to another room because I had issues in the room, if it wasn't for that everything would have been okay but I got switch another room and it was all right thank you

Where do I start? Let me say that this was a last minute decision as our previous hotel canceled on us the day we were supposed to arrive. I called to confirm my reservation prior to arrival just in case. The staff was rude over the phone. I arrived yesterday and there was minimal interaction during the check out process and they didn't even tell me where my room was. There were scratches all over the furniture, dirt and grime all over the bathroom/bathtub, dirty floors that left mine and my dog's feet filthy (I had to baby wipe both our feet prior to getting in bed and I'm not a super germaphone), and there was what appeared to be paint all over the floor. There were minimal areas that I could walk my dog without broken glass or other dangerous objects. The paper thin walls allowed you to here EVERYTHING from your neighbors and the ceiling grumbled with the slightly noise from your upstairs neighbor. Right next to the headboard was a dead bug that was just painted over. Holes all over the walls. The remote didn't have a back, which isn't a huge deal but I definitely took a photo so I wasn't held responsible. I stayed Friday and Saturday. Sunday morning was a super early check out and as I was getting all my things put up and packed away, I say two types of roach-like bugs. If you can avoid it at all. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

Efficient check-in. The room had zero towel bars/hooks/rings in either bathroom or sink area. There was no tissue in the room and no hair dryer - though that may be acceptable for a lower price hotel. There were no cups/glasses, either disposable or glass, and no ice bucket. Bed was pretty comfortable and linens definitely clean. VERY bad highway noise - I had requested "a quiet room, away from the elevator." I definitely was far away from the elevator. After checking in, I left to get something to eat, and realized then that the outside doors (the elevator [the inspection certificate had expired the day before, BTW] is outside on the upper floors), were zip tied open so they couldn't be locked, despite having a key reader right beside the door - not a safety-conscious practice. When the elevator opened up on the first floor, I saw a long trail of large blood droplets stretching from outside to the lobby - clerk said "it just happened," but nothing else. Fortunately, it was cleaned up by the time I got back....which I really wondered if it was safe to do at that point. Slept despite waking several times from the noise. After showering, I spotted a giant wad of toilet paper or tissue on the floor behind the toilet...with some wetness around it. Forgive me for not inspecting any closer, but I really didn't want to know.... I hope to go back to Columbus some time, but will definitely choose to stay elsewhere.
