In my opinion, this property had an excellent photographer. I was so disappointed by the condition of this property. My first impression was that the landscaper must have quit and it went downhill from there. There were roaches spotted in our room, the furniture was torn and stained. Our socks were filthy from walking on the floor. Plus, we were required to pay an additional 100.00 for a “security deposit “. I’ve yet to receive a return from the motel. This will be my last adventure with Expedia and the Villa 1565.

Room was clean but the door to the outside had a half inch gap at the bottom and during a rainstorm overnight, the water came into our hotel room making the walk from the bed to the bathroom very soggy. We didn’t bother complaining to staff as none of our personal items were affected. My husband wasn’t a huge fan of the location but it was within walking distance of the fountain, the trolley goes directly through the parking lot so super easy to get on. I enjoyed the continental breakfast as well although we normally went out to eat.

Dont let the pictures fool you. Smelly (moldy) room, questionable patrons roaming around. We ended up leaving and headed to another establishment.

Needs maintenance overall, it's not bad but needs finishing touches, all the bathroom tile work sink and furniture needs to be updated or just finished paint and putty goes a long way but unfinished putty and sealer in cracks and borders need work

The hotel tried to upgrade but the property didn’t look as nice and well kept as the photos. A real good pressure spraying outside walls and walkways would go a long way

Price was good was exactly what I was expecting. Nothing fancy but was okay for the price.

An old style motel that shows its age. However, there are many positives: location, pool, outside common area and price.

Loved the location. Perfect for goals of site seeing and nearby numerous excellent restaurants. Great small pool where we hung out a lot as there were rip currents at the beach. Excellent breakfast included in the rate. The staff was very accommodating. We will definitely go back. If your looking for a low key resort, this is it.

The hotel was a nice walk to downtown. It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was fresh and good. We were very happy with our stay!

Very well located, breakfast facilities onsite, nice warm pool, room was good with a/c working. I thought housekeeping could be better, the team never seemed to clean our room when we were out & just refreshed towels.

Cute little hotel close to many different attractions.

This was the worst stay of my entire life. The room was full of cockroaches, and the chairs were extremely dirty—as if they had never been cleaned—as was the ironing board. The cockroaches even run across the bed while you sleep.

Bed and pillows were comfortable and room stayed nice and cold, probably the only time I’ve ever slept good at a hotel! Only complaint is that the floors were very sandy.
