Service was fine. However, we had to pack up and leave in the middle of the night due to bug bites and not sleeping at all. Pretty positve there were bed bugs. I have a toddler and am not happy about this.

The clerks at check in weren't very welcoming, the gal was knowledgeable but both she & the gentleman standing behind her seemed annoyed to be checking me in. The room we were given was no smoking as selected, but smelt entirely of stale cigarette smoke. The wall had a paint patch job 10x darker than the paint originally painted on the wall. There are gnats coming out of the sink. Bed pillows are worn down with no padding left in them. No blinds or 2nd layer of curtains to fully black out the room. Bathroom needs to be updated instead of pink tile. We have family in Williams & come to stay often, but will be driving outside of the city limits for a better hotel next time.

Requested a 4am wake up call which didn’t happen causing us to be late the next day

Best Western has a real problem on their hands - they have removed features/amenities from their SureStay motels, to justify the price difference between these and their upper market brands... but leaving this really a bottom end room: yes it had a desk, but the chairs were so low, ie, didn't belong there, the desktop was at armpit level. The towels were bottom end. The soap was limited and miniscule etc, ie, their accountants did everything to cuts costs and emphasize the difference with their better brands... given there was no cost difference, one is better staying at a brand that has more years at low cost rooms, that are usable, a la, right next door in this case.

I arrived and found that I paid for a protected reservation with reservation confirmed with number. They had no record of my reservation from Expedia or hotels.com. I have a record of this on my phone. I had to pay full price. Someone owes me some money. And I will get it.

This property is convenient to I-5 which is the only positive. The bed linens were stained, the towels had stains, I woke up in the morning and realized that there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector! It looked as though there was blood splatter on the bathroom wall. When i was ready to leave at 6:30 am, the office was closed and there was no breakfast.
