Booked 2 nights but left after first night. No air conditioner, found cockroach under pillow in bed. Couldn’t sleep as wondering where the roach was…Sat on lounge watching tv and lounges have bad smell. Stained curtains in bedrooms. Broken outdoor table. The positives: good outdoors with nice trees and birds, kitchen and bathroom looked ok but we didn’t use. Staff was nice and offered another unit that had vacated and would be cleaned, but we were so disappointed and tired without sleep and decided to go home.

Room 17 shower is as good as useless otherwise the property is a little run down and needs some maintenance

Beautiful spot nestled among the trees - very quiet and peaceful - just what we needed - walking around the property was enjoyable - had all that was needed - place was well set out

Our stay was quiet, loved that there was a nice bistro on the property. The grounds were good. Room was clean, bathroom a bit small. Overall, a good place.

The room was nice, complete with a visiting cockatoo on the balcony. Unfortunately the sound travelled very easily between rooms and with the neighbouring guests up until 4am, I didn't get much sleep. Shame, because the forest setting was very peaceful.

Repeat stay ... love it.

Felt unsafe next to pub. Dark and cold. Room renovated but outside cobwebs, mould and slippery steps. Staff nice.

Great settings and location. Only thing is we had no hot water and when we told reception they said sorry, but that was it
