Shurijo Castle Park is a part of the main hall burnt down after the fire. After removing some materials and ashes, in order to protect the remains of the Shurijo Castle main hall, it was restored with soil and covered with eaves, and then opened to the public. The remains of the main hall of the Shuri Castle are registered as a World Cultural Heritage. The Shuri Castle Ruins, which symbolize the country's designated historical monuments, is an important cultural asset.
