Our overall stay for Father's day was nice. We were greeted nicely. Check-in process was smooth and we were upgraded free (thanks to Jas from front office). Despite the room size being the same with what we booked, what stood out was probably the view as we were assigned in a room on a high floor overlooking the city lights, really nice at night. There was a fruit plate (apples) as welcome amenity and what I really like best was the room and amenities throughout the hotel was spotless. In-room amenity included a coffee machine, water heater, mini bar setup, mini sofa and office chair, cool toilet with bathtub having quality-made toiletries and a high-tech toilet bowl similar in Japan *wink*. The water heater was nice too, especially for a person who's having a hard time bathing in cold water, when I tried exchanging the shower handle, it was adjusting properly to the temperature you want yey. Cause for other hotels the heater doesn't usually adjust exactly to the temp needed. The breakfast buffet was good except that we didn't enjoy it that much because one of my kiddos had puked after eating there. (don't really know why) There were several options but the taste was okay, nothing fancy. The highlight of our stay was really the heated pool. My kids loved it and the size of their pool was quite big. I loved that they provide swimming gear for kids too. We really had fun swimming and I tried the jacuzzi quickly but I don't think it was for me. They also have a sauna and gym (no time to check though). Judging from the amenities we've tried, the place was really clean, comfortable, and suitable for all travelers. What I would like you to highlight though is that despite having all of these, I felt that there was still something missing. The service felt bland. I feel like the people (not everyone though) lack the hospitality itself. Not everyone is smiling and I don't know how to describe it but this is definitely something they could improve on.
