Great food, decent tour and accommodation. Rooms were a little bit tight if you are taller than 6'2. Weather didn't hold up hence we couldn't go up to Padar Island unfortunately. Lots of snorkeling activities.

This tour experience is unforgettable, but unfortunately, the underwater documentation is not provided by the tour. If in the future underwater documentation or drones can be provided, this will add to the unforgettable memories.

The tour guide named Jhonas Yugo was unprofessional in accompanying tourists. He did not explain the icons of each destination. During snorkeling, he was busy swimming on his own. At Padar Island, he left the tourists to climb by themselves, which is very dangerous. Most importantly, he did not provide any safety instructions to the tourists during the trip. Additionally, he did not provide the promised photo and video documentation to the tourists. For tourists, please be cautious and consider not using the services of the tour guide Jhonas Yugo.

The price on Traveloka is more expensive than others on the same ship. The ship looks poorly maintained and less clean, the wooden supports are cracked, the facilities do not match the picture.

for travel input: 1. more responsive in providing information and more details so that package buyers are not rich in php in people's cities. 2. update spots that can't be visited either from wa or the tour guide (don't make it sudden). the point is that we are disappointed with the management, thank God, after the complaint we were given compensation for a trip replacement on the third day. fair enough but there is still something missing because it's far away but it's not according to the itinerary. for trip day 1 and 2 so far so good. hopefully in the future it will be better. thank you.

the room when it rained was leaking, not on time to go and go home, some tourist attractions canceled the reason for not enough time, when checked in was told to choose a room (we choose a room with a toilet but then moved to a room without a toilet (according to the guide later refunded)). The last day was no lunch and it seemed very rushed because there were other participants who wanted to go to the airport.

The price I paid is not in accordance with the facilities provided. Order a private room but be given a sharing room with a smaller bed! The itinerary is very messy because Your Flores has agreed to other passengers whose schedule does not match the itinerary. But for the boat crew and guides are very helpful

The staff was hery helpful & the photographer knew your best angle. Dont worry about the food, cause it was exceed from my expectation to live on d boat, so tasty & i love chilli so asked they to served it .The facilities on boat is quite enough, there was electricity to charge, AC & towel. The bathroom is clean, shared but they keep it clean & smell good. If you are lucky enough to get the boat with karaoke facilities, but mine wasn't so my recommendation is to bring your speaker to chill when on sailing.

Itinerary Details & Highlights

The Komodo Island Sailing Tour packs a range of exciting activities into its three-day itinerary, giving you the opportunity to explore multiple destinations and enjoy various activities, from trekking to snorkeling. Below is a breakdown of the itinerary and highlights:

Day 1: Labuan Bajo to Kelor Island and Rinca Island

  • Morning Departure from Labuan Bajo
  • Your tour begins in Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park. After boarding the boat and meeting the crew, you’ll set sail towards your first destination.
  • Kelor Island
  • The first stop is Kelor Island, known for its short but steep hike that rewards climbers with panoramic views of the surrounding islands. After the hike, enjoy some time snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters around the island, where you’ll encounter vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish.
  • Rinca Island: Komodo Dragons
  • In the afternoon, you’ll head to Rinca Island, home to one of the largest populations of Komodo dragons. Accompanied by a local park ranger, you’ll trek through the island’s rugged terrain to observe these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Don’t forget to keep your camera ready, as this is one of the few places in the world where you can see Komodo dragons up close.
  • Kalong Island: Sunset and Bats
  • End your first day with a magical sunset at Kalong Island, where you’ll witness thousands of flying foxes (bats) take flight against the backdrop of a stunning sunset. It’s the perfect way to wrap up an adventurous day.

Day 2: Padar Island, Pink Beach, and Manta Point

  • Padar Island: Sunrise Hike
  • Day two begins early with a sunrise hike up Padar Island, one of the most famous spots in Komodo National Park. The short but challenging hike takes you to the island’s highest point, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of three uniquely colored beaches (white, black, and pink) and the surrounding turquoise waters.
  • Pink Beach: Snorkeling
  • Next, you’ll head to the famous Pink Beach, one of the few beaches in the world with pink sand. The unique color is created by a mixture of white sand and red coral fragments. Pink Beach is also a great spot for snorkeling, as the surrounding waters are filled with vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
  • Manta Point: Swim with Manta Rays
  • One of the highlights of the Komodo Island Sailing Tour is snorkeling at Manta Point, a popular spot where you can swim with graceful manta rays. These gentle giants can often be seen gliding through the water, creating an unforgettable underwater experience.
  • Taka Makassar
  • After an exciting time at Manta Point, you’ll visit Taka Makassar, a small sandbar surrounded by turquoise waters. This serene spot is perfect for more snorkeling, swimming, or simply lounging on the boat and enjoying the beauty of your surroundings.

Day 3: Komodo Island and Kanawa Island

  • Komodo Island
  • The third and final day of the tour takes you to Komodo Island, the largest island in the national park and home to the iconic Komodo dragons. Here, you’ll go on a trek with a local ranger to learn more about these ancient reptiles and their unique ecosystem.
  • Kanawa Island
  • After visiting Komodo Island, you’ll make your way to Kanawa Island, known for its pristine beaches and clear waters. Kanawa Island is a great spot for snorkeling, where you’ll have the chance to see various species of fish, coral, and even sea turtles. It’s the perfect way to end your trip before sailing back to Labuan Bajo.

Price of Komodo Island Sailing Tour

The price of the Komodo Island Sailing Tour (3 Days, 2 Nights) can vary depending on the time of year, the type of boat, and the tour operator. However, you can expect prices to start at around Rp3.344.910.

Duration of the Komodo Island Sailing Tour

The total duration of the Komodo Island Sailing Tour is three days and two nights, providing ample time to explore the highlights of Komodo National Park at a relaxed pace. Tips for Visiting Komodo Island

Here are some helpful tips to make the most of your Komodo Island Sailing Tour:

1. Book Early

The Komodo National Park is a popular destination, especially during peak travel seasons. Be sure to book your tour as early as possible to secure your spot and get the best rates.

2. Pack Light but Smart

The boat has limited space, so it’s a good idea to pack light. However, make sure to bring essentials such as sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, and comfortable shoes for hiking.

3. Bring Your Own Snorkeling Gear (Optional)

While most tours provide snorkeling equipment, you may prefer to bring your own gear for comfort and fit. Having your own mask, fins, and snorkel can make a big difference in your overall experience.

4. Stay Hydrated and Eat Well

The tropical climate in Komodo can be quite hot, so it’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day. Drink plenty of water and take advantage of the delicious meals provided on the boat.

5. Follow Safety Guidelines

When visiting Komodo Island, always listen to your guide and follow safety instructions, especially around the Komodo dragons. These reptiles are wild and can be dangerous, so it’s essential to keep a safe distance and never approach them on your own.
