** The Japanese translations must be issued by the respective country's embassies, consulates, or the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) and JDL (Japan Drivers License). If you have a Taiwanese driver's license, please apply for a translation from JAF or the Taiwan-Japan Relations Association. A foreign driver's license is valid for driving in Japan for 1 year from the date of entry (please confirm the entry stamp in your passport), or any shorter period within the valid period of the foreign driver's license. However, when a person holding a certificate of residence in Japan re-enters Japan within 3 months, the re-entry date does not serve as the starting date for driving in Japan.

Disclaimer Compensation (Included in Fees)
If the vehicle is not returned to the shop when it is drivable (for example, parked on the side of the road, etc.), an additional compensation of JPY 100,000 for business loss will be charged
If you exceed the insurance compensation limit, you will be asked to bear the expenses yourself.
Insurance will not cover the following situations:
1. No police report (no accident certificate from police)
2. Accidents caused by driving without a driver's license, substance use, or drunk driving
3. Accidents caused by drivers who did not provide a driver's license
4. Damage and contamination of equipment inside and outside the vehicle not caused by a vehicle accident (smoking in a non-smoking vehicle, etc.)
5. Settling privately without the consent of the insurance company

7. Fines & Penalties for Violating Japanese Local Laws
8. Exceeding the scheduled rental period at the time of the accident
