Old hotel but with excellent service. Followed the Health Protocol. Fast check in and checked out. Cooperative employees from front office, HK, and FB. All special request I've ordered full fill great fully. Connecting rooms (the view was spectacular) and Graduation treat. Thank You Aston Solo. It was my second visit and will be visit again.

location is good, at the center of Solo. it is surrounded by recommended culinary if you want to go food travelling. hotel was also clean and have swimming pool, which they keep it clean, so my husband could enjoy the pool without feel worry. hotel also gives guarantee that their rooms are well sanitized.

We stayed last Friday-Saturday. Overall the location is very strategic, close to several malls. To improve the quality of service, there are 2 things I need to convey. 1. The refrigerator in my room is not working, please check the condition of the equipment in all rooms. 2. There was an unpleasant incident that I experienced when I was going to use the swimming pool. Our family was going to swim in the afternoon. Approximately 15 minutes before, my husband had confirmed whether we could still swim, the officer answered that we could still swim until 18.00. Departing from this information, we prepared to swim. However, when we arrived at the swimming pool, the conditions were a bit drizzling so we were not allowed to swim and were told that swimming could only be done until 17.30 (different from the previous information which said swimming was allowed until 18.00). I felt a bit reluctant because when we were prohibited from swimming, there was still 1 person swimming in the swimming pool. Then the officer tried to discuss with the manager on duty and returned with a letter that we needed to sign stating our request to swim in the rain. This really made me disagree, as if we were forcing ourselves to swim. The context that needs to be underlined here is "not allowed to swim when it's raining". So, if we are not allowed to swim because it is drizzling, then the person who is still swimming at that time also needs to be asked to get out of the pool because they are swimming in the rain. I need to say that our 6-year-old child is also aware of the different rules between us and the guests who are swimming. The hotel has apologized the next day by giving a cake. We have also accepted the apology. However, it is important for hotel management to evaluate the SOP that applies in this condition. There needs to be a compact hotel team and equal treatment of rules for all guests. Don't let it always be "lower staff" who are the front line to receive our complaints and solve problems with a piece of cake. Hopefully this can be a material for hotel management to evaluate in serving guests.
