This is the best hotel in Singkawang! I stayed in the executive room (windows) and I really loved the unique design of the room. However, the best part of my stay was the staff! When there was problem they were very accommodating to my needs for example reschedule because of covid and the cleaning of the room. This hotel has the best staff in all of Singkawang! I highly recommend this hotel!

Overall, it was satisfying. The location is in the center of the city. The parking lot is quite big. The view was very nice, the water was fresh, the food was various and delicious, and especially the time for breakfast was so sharp. The receptionists and workers were friendly and fast response. The things missed from this place were the price and maintenance. It was quite pricy for ⭐⭐⭐ old hotel. The bedroom was not suit with the picture, and also quite dirty. The sink and shower were broken. There was no mini fridge inside. Extra bed costed 200k. Sorry for not taking picture of the bedroom. The pool was also quite dirty. Hopefully, it will improve or at least maintain its quality. Thank you so much🙏🤗

Hotel Kyodai
The room is as beautiful as it looks on the photos, with huge windows and lots of natural light. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was interesting (all vegetarian). However, they advertize hot water and bathtub, but the water is luke warm at best and the water current is very weak (takes forever to wash hair!). We tried filling up the bathtub and the water just got cold immediately. 😓 Also, there is a night club right next to the hotel and we heard loud music till 3am on Saturday and Sunday nights. The bed is comfy and while the room was clean enough and beautiful, I would say it is not worth the price (we stay in a deluxe room-more than 650rb Rp/night).

Grand Mandarin Inn
We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Mandarin Inn. It’s an affordable option, especially for larger families, as the room we booked came with two double beds, providing plenty of space and comfort for everyone.
The location is fantastic—just a short distance from Pasar Hong Kong, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Parking was a breeze as well, thanks to the helpful staff who guided us to ensure everything was smooth.
Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for comfort, affordability, and convenience. Highly recommended!

I would not recommend this hotel. The facilities in the room was not even meet satisfaction. The room's condition especially the bathroom dirty and has no heater. The mattress too old.
