The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful, when checking in the room was not very clean, dusty. The bedroom and bathroom were not well maintained so it felt uncomfortable, the strategic location is near Pasar Gede, PGC, etc.

The room is clean, complete amenities, drinking water is provided in a water jug and gallon so it doesn't litter and can be taken back and forth. Unfortunately, the AC takes a long time to cool down and the hot water doesn't work well. But it's okay because Solo is hot so you don't need hot water. The price of this room is worth buying.

It's a small hotel but it tries to cater the guests' needs, like the super tiny pool for kids and the entrance to rooms that has to pass the dining area but overall it was good.

The location is close to the Palace. Even walking to Pasar Gede is close, less than 15 minutes. The price is very affordable. The restaurant's food suits my taste buds. Honestly, this is a hotel in Solo that I have ever stayed at that has proper food, not yet comparable to other hotel restaurant dishes. This hotel is okay for resting, in terms of cleanliness and facilities, it's just ordinary. Don't over expect, even though this is now under Horison. We booked 2 rooms, the water kettles in the rooms were all broken, there were no towels in the second room (we were asked not to take a shower or what?). Fast wifi, okay for working.

friendly hotel staff, if guests need help they are always helped, when meeting guests they always say hello like good morning/afternoon/evening/night. from this hotel it is also quite close to walk to several tourist attractions such as Alun-alun Kidul, Keraton, and Pasar Gede.
for the room, I happened to rent room number 211 and 213. unfortunately both rooms have some problems, in room 211, the water for the shower is not very smooth, then because the position of the room is near the stairs, every time someone passes the stairs the sound of their footsteps can always be heard.
then for room 213, the shower is smooth, but the exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work at all 🥲
but other than that the room is quite comfortable, the AC is cold, the internet on the TV is very smooth so you can watch Netflix/YouTube without buffering.
at each end of the right and left hallway there is a dispenser, so if you want to drink cold water just walk a little.

When we first arrived and brought our belongings and a baby, there were no staff to help us. The front office staff just played with their cellphones and looked down. The room was noisy all night with knocking sounds and the sound of chairs being pulled. There were dead cockroaches in the bathroom. The sheets and chairs in the room were dirty and had stains.

The service is quite friendly, the facilities are not as expected. The cleanliness of the room initially seemed good, but when I slept at night, my whole body was itchy ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ and it turned out that my husband even found some bed bugs. So bad .. even though this hotel has a fairly high rate. Hopefully it will be better in the future

The AC is not cold even though it has been set to 16, the room cleanliness is lacking, the restaurant is very bad starting from the ambience, menu variety, cleanliness, lots of small flies, seriously, this hotel with the name of Hotel Horison has to improve, it really is not worthy of having a big brand.
