I was very tired and needed hot water to take a shower, but the hot water didn't work until the little one was shivering. The AC wasn't cold either (I got a room with an old AC). In my parents' room, the TV wasn't working, and some of the room lights were off. The water for taking a shower was also only cold water. When we stayed, the renovation process was not 100% complete. This is the second time we stayed here & the rooms are getting upgraded. Unfortunately, the service is not as good as before. 1. There is no security at the front door, so when we entered with a baby, stroller & lots of luggage, we had difficulty opening the door (because my husband was still parking the car). 2. The check-in time tends to be long because there is only 1 receptionist. When we checked out, it was the same, so we still had to wait for the first person to check in for a long time. 3. When we asked for towels from the receptionist, they said they would be delivered, when we checked again, it turned out they forgot. So we had to wait quite a long time 4. In the afternoon, the hot water was still available, but in the morning it was no longer available. Even 1 room had water turned off but it was immediately fixed. 5. The gong is because this time the taste of the breakfast menu was not as good as the previous stay. side dish only has fish in sour soup (which is not everyone can eat fish). If there is only 1 side dish, it would be better to have chicken which is more familiar. hopefully Neo Aston will get better

The rooms looked pretty dreary. The light in the bathroom was dim and pretty dark. The lobby was also dark and looked gloomy. Not sure if they were saving electricity or what. But it just had this sad, lowly vibe about it - so different from the bright and vibrant photos on the site. I liked the Harpers by Aston in Kupang better. Though the location is farther away from the airport, the hotel, the staff, and the room were actually "alive."
