Stay at Midtown Xpress according to my expectations, which require a clean hotel for transit, affordable prices and a good breakfast menu. Midtown hotel is close to the Gulung Jenebora gift shop that sells our typical souvenir Balikpapan.

First experience staying here, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The room is comfortable and the size is also sufficient. Got a small window facing the BSB mall building at least there is an outside view that can be seen. For the food, it tastes good even though the variations are not that many but it is still cooked well. Unfortunately, the room is not very soundproof so you can still hear other guests coming in and out of the room and knocking on the wall. The car park is also quite adequate. Overall, with an affordable price, I am quite satisfied staying here.

The hotel have good access to airport, breakfast was okay, but one of the room I got have smoke odors. The staff can't give any switch room because it was weekend and have all the room booked
