The hotel area is very large, but we can park the car near our room so it's easier when loading the luggage. The pool area is also quite spacious. The atmosphere in the hotel area is so cool and comfortable.

Actually the room is already nice, clean, and there's a balcony also. But the air conditioner was so noisy. I didn't sleep well because the AC was noisy and I often woke up. I told the front office and they gave me a solution to call the technician repeatedly and disturb my sleep.

Staycation for 3d2n in superior type, room number: 236. The ambience was warm and cozy. Family friendly, kids friendly. There are animal education facilities such as fish ponds, rabbit cages, chickens, and birds. All building facilities, animals and plants are well maintained, only a few minor ones need restoration, for example: the door latch is rusty, many children's toys in the kids club are broken and dirty, the paint is peeling, the ceramics at the bottom of the swimming pool are yellowing, etc.
The only minus is that it is not user friendly. 1. The problem with the shower water not being hot turned out to be only because the faucet marking did not match the actual function (hot and cold were reversed). Note: people who stay at this hotel are not the ones who are here every day, so even though the receptionist has informed us, it is better to make improvements for the long term. For example, re-marking the faucet so that room users are aware. 2. The power outlet is far from the electric kettle, there is no power outlet near the bed. Details in the photo. Hopefully this will be a constructive suggestion..
But overall still fun, will be back another time and try staying in condominium. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊

10 minutes from Alun Alun Batu Malang. The room is quite large, there is a dining room and living room. But the building is old, there are 3 TVs, in each room and living room. No Smart TV yet, AC is only in the room. The bathroom is quite clean. Breakfast tastes pretty good. The variations are not too many.

quite ok. only access to each floor is by stairs, no elevator available. quite difficult for parents. the hotel area is very large, consisting of several buildings. the first & second night stayed in different buildings because we ordered different room types. the room is quite spacious, although it looks like an old hotel but everything functions well. There is also a large pool, suitable for those who bring children and family.

first impression of the Royal Hotel, (*recommended for family or honeymoon stays) Top
in terms of Plus:
Spacious hotel, amazing view, many facilities, many + delicious food variations, SUITABLE FOR FAMILY because the children's area has many places to play from the spacious Hotel yard, there are animals", swimming pool, kidz zone.

. rooms that are not soundproof
. towels that are quite old (black, dirty) may be time to be replaced, or maybe because the regular room was given a less good one (don't know if the villa room or more is the same or the towels are new maybe)
. no elevator (but the stairs are wide and safe) *this is not really a problem
. the reception staff is lacking in providing information about available rooms (when we asked on the day when we wanted to stay, we were informed that only deluxe rooms were available, and finally we checked via the online app that there were still superior class rooms available which were cheaper. so I don't know if that's the SOP or it's just the system...)
conclusion: COMFORTABLE HOTEL, BEST VIEW, DELICIOUS & VARIED FOOD + Near food places & minimarkets + OK ROOMS *bathrooms have hairdryers. thank you Royal Hotel & Villa Batu *recommendations for staying, don't hesitate, just pay for your order

Nice hotel, big with beautiful mountain view. Cleanliness of hotel area and hotel room is maintained. Bed is comfortable and given more than 1 pillow. It's just a shame there is no lift in the hotel, so going up and down from lobby to room still uses stairs. Breakfast is very diverse food. Highly recommended for family vacation.

pleasant and comfortable...and in my opinion the items in the room need to be upgraded including the bathroom equipment especially the towels if it's time to change them, because yesterday I got a black towel that was ugly and not worth using but in the end I was allowed to exchange it, the food was okay and delicious...great

Booked superior arjuna triple. The location of the room happened to be in the back building, although parking is available in front of the building but it's still quite good if you want to go to the lobby, restaurant and pool especially if it's raining. Effort if gofood goes back and forth to the lobby because this hotel has a very large area. When I first arrived, I couldn't go straight into the room because the cardlock couldn't be used even though I had already gone to the back building, there were no officers on standby there, there was only a telephone at the front but it couldn't be used because of the crackling sound, fortunately a neighbor offered to call the reception from his room. The wifi couldn't be used, the signal was unstable, maybe because of the high traffic during the peak season of Eid. The toilet was clean and complete with a hairdryer, but be careful, the floor was slippery and the towels were a bit dull (the bath mat was whiter than the towels), or was it really gray, sorry if I'm wrong. FYI, the entire area of this hotel has many stairs so you have to be aware for the elderly and toddlers.
for facilities very nice. there is a spa, a large pool, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a mini zoo. There is also a sports field but minus the gym room. The breakfast menu was unexpected, there were so many variants and all the taste was not canned. Entering the restaurant at 8:30, there were already several menus that were finished but there were still many that were still available (I didn't get to try them all because my stomach couldn't fit).

When checking in, the receptionist did not inform the hotel rules like other hotels I have visited. The TDK card was accidentally lost and...replace it 100k 😱 where the card is only plain white without the hotel name. The room was booked double but given twin single beds, gosh how come a husband and wife sleep in separate beds... in the end the mattresses were put together. After that it turned out that under the mattress was dirty, not swept, finally I called the receptionist to ask for a mop to clean it myself 🤣 there is a balcony but what's the point of a balcony if the floor is dirty like it's never been swept 😰 the room is dim, my suggestion is to provide white lights and also for the path to the hotel room all yellow lights so it seems like this hotel is very scary in the afternoon to night 😱😱😱 the room and restaurant have flies, I don't know why 🤣🤣🤣 for me just 1x is enough stay here hehehee ....
