The service when checking in early was great. The staffs were friendly. Nice ambience around the hotel. The room was very cozy with unique interior design, there is a mini bird cage in the room filled with sweets. Hotel is also conveniently located. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

This hotel is a nice hotel in a grand old colonial building. Lots of character and many interesting classic old furniture on display. The rooms needed some attention, understandably as it is an old design. However, the management needs to focus on improving their service at the restaurant and breakfast buffet. Dinner service is extremely slow. In our case, they totally forgot our meals that were left on the counter to be served until we alerted them 45 min later! Hotel is very well located with a short walk to the famous Malioboro street.

Excellent hotel in Yogyakarta in great location. Rooms are clean and the hotel is well maintained. The coffee machine in the room was a great bonus. I'll definitely be back one day.

When check-in my room was upgraded to Deluxe. What a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. The hotel and room ambience are really good, definitely a classical javanese heritage. The breakfast was so varied, from javanese cuisine, asian to western. So tasty as well! The staff were so friendly, helpful and communicative. I think this hotel is underrated, even though it's such a gem in the heart of Yogyakarta city. Would definitely come back! PS: would be great if the hotel could put/add more variety of room amenities/faclities.
