Not my first time in Melaka but our stay at this hotel was definitely so relaxing and good. Near to many food establishments. Walking distance to the main tourist spots. Food has a lot of choices. The room is clean and smells good. The check in and out process went so smooth. The facilities are all functioning well and in good condition. Overall we will go back again.

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. This is my second visit, overall good. The room is spacious. The view also good, it 's sea view. The most important it 's walking distance to Mahkota medical center.

My car was stolen at the night before I check out from the hotel carpark. The carpark isn't gated at night and the security only work up to 12am. Report the incident to hotel reception doesn't help, the lady still laugh and thought I'm joking. Did not offer any help and just ask me to file police report. Hotel room and facilities are poorly maintained, very run down.

New hotel, to Mahkota Medical Center quite far. To leave your suitcase, you are only told to place it at the bottom of the stairs in front of the receptionist without giving a name tag. To get to the 2nd floor reception there is only an elevator while the escalator is off. The rooftop has a small swimming pool when I went upstairs at night with no visitors and the service was indifferent and not friendly at all. I immediately went down, originally planning to hang out and have a drink.

1. The reception of both the men and the women, so bad, rude and not polite, and lazy. 2. I ask the reception (men) to make my room and I told then morning I go to SG but night I'll comeback, please make up my room, I remind twice, but he forget and blame me why I'm not putting the "make up room" sign (no sign in the room) 3. When I ask the Wi-Fi (women) reception answer it so rudely, I ask her to speak politely but she is still rude (she speaks so fast) 4. I ask the receptionist to keep my key, in our last day, but suddenly the women ask me to keep by myself, she refuse but I told her I'll bring a lot of stuff so please help me, at the end she help me, but she say something in her language that I don't understand. 5. The room is clean, the room boy is good, the AC is quite good, the water heater is good, all of the facilities are good. I think the staff there need more train, how to service the guests. I also work in a hospitality company, so I know the standard, please have a good facility so I can be better.
