Important Note

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Effective from 1st January 2025, the Melaka State Government imposed a mandatory MYR 4.00 Heritage Tax Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation. This fee may change without prior notice. This fee will be collected by hotel upon guest arrival.

General Check-in Instructions

A tourism tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is excluded from the room rates and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Upon check-in, hotel Front Desk will collect from guests MYR 2.00 Melaka Local Government Fee per room per night. This fee is excluded from room rates. Re-Imposition of Tourism Tax by Registered Operator of Accommodation Premise Will Be Effective from 1st January 2023. Kindly be informed that the exemption of tourism tax on foreign tourist staying at a registered accommodation premise will end on 31st December 2022. Accordingly, the imposition of tourism tax on foreign tourist staying at a registered premise will be re-imposed effective from 1st January 2023.

Overall service is still OK, but there is a little problem when checking in, because there is a hotel tax payment rule and does not accept cash payments. This is a bit difficult for tourists from outside like us. Some problems with door access are a bit difficult to open. Some people complain about the same thing. The rest is all good.

I booked for 3 nights because we couldn't sleep because the bed was full of dust so our bodies itched while sleeping so for 2 nights we checked out and moved to another hotel, maybe this room was rarely booked so the cleanliness was not taken into account, for all it was ok, only the cleanliness of the room needs to be taken into account, thank you

The hotel is nice and comfortable, unfortunately there is no microwave in the mini kitchen because we stayed in a room with 2 bedrooms and a family room.
