The room is spacious, clean and the view is great! However, the water heater is not working for my entire stay. The location is quite far from the haram, I thought the shuttle bus provided is direct to the haram area. It’s only until Jamarat bus station (which actually you can reach by walking) and from Jamarat you have to take another public bus provided by the government, and this bus always full. I was sick on my last night, and the staff wasn’t showing their empathy. I have to walk myself at 10pm to the hospital :( This hotel good for group, so you can share the taxy. Go with the bus lots of effort.

Movenpick is not really expensive as other hotels in the same floor P11. But it delivers a great experience, start from the reception, the lobby, the lift, the room, the views … all of those are really nice and lovely. Thanks movenpick.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an issue I faced with the payment for my stay at Swissotel Makkah. Despite the payment being made with Traveloka, the hotel declined the transaction, which caused significant inconvenience. As a result, I was required to make a manual payment to settle the charges. This situation was unexpected and should have been handled more smoothly. I would appreciate an explanation of why the vendor’s payment was declined and any steps to prevent such issues in the future. Additionally, the Hotel has refunded my payment but it will take some time. I'm anxiously waiting and hope this can be settled as soon as possible.

Staff at front desk needs more training. While attended my issue she entertained other guests’ request. She left her place to get things done for others. Staff should attend to guest until the end. My luggage bags were not send to my room. After more than one hour waiting for the bags I went down personally to carry my bags. One of the staff at the luggage store helped me to bring the bags to my room. It's not month of ramadhan and this unattended bag request should not happened.

Alhamdulillah, what can I say. It is the best experience I've ever had in Haram Area. The hotel has special elevator to access Masjidil Haram. The breakfast was magnificent. We were offered to upgrade our rooms to enable staying on same floor and end up with 2 rooms with Ka'bah view and 1 room with full Ka'bah view. Alhamdulillah, amazing! Hotel staff is really helpful with check in and check out as well as handling our luggage. In shaa Allah I'll be back!
