The club lounge is open from 6 A.M - 6 P.M, so doesn't include early evening cocktails and canapes that is standard in most club lounges. Instead, Lebua offers lunch (noon - 3 pm) followed by High Tea (3 pm-6 pm) buffets, with a very generous alcoholic drinks offering served throughout. The staff never allowed anyone's glass to empty without going over to offer more to drink. The breakfast was great, served from 6 A.M. right through to 11 A.M, either in the main breakfast restaurant or in the club lounge. Another nice touch about breakfast, that suited my personal tastes, was that tea and coffee were served in flasks. My tea was still piping hot even when I poured it after 30 minutes. The lounge was busy and the staff rushed off their feet during the prolonged afternoon session. The lounge felt very 'busy', too, with people constantly traipsing past going to the buffet counters. It felt dark and cramped, with everything in dark brown tones. I think the timings of the lounge work quite well. It gives check-in staff the option of ferrying people into the lounge for lunch if the 'suites' aren't ready, and it meant the other restaurants at the dome weren't competing with the lounge for custom during peak evening times. Staff always referred to the room as 'your suite'. I'm sure they are briefed to say 'suite' rather than 'room'. Housekeeping and staff attentiveness generally were excellent. The suite was nice. The reception area doesn't have windows. However the bedroom had excellent views. You can ask housekeeping to unlock the balcony door. The complimentary mini bar, bathroom, teas counter were very generously stocked. The hotel generally was busy, often with fairly lengthy waits for the lifts, which don't display the current floor the lifts are on from the outside, so you are never quite sure when the lift is going to arrive. The lobby is small. The swimming pool didn't get any sun after mid-morning, and most of the sun loungers are all in a fairly cramped area. Overall, my deal was amazing value for money. I will definitely stay again, although I'm not sure when as there are many other hotels in Bangkok that I also like. I often choose a hotel based on fitness and sports facilities, as well as location. I don't always consider F&B and club lounges as important when deciding where to stay. You are spoilt for choice in Bangkok for hotels and residences of all classes, and there are many that also have suites with views.
