Bangi Wonderland Theme Park is a water theme park located in Bangi, on a 12-acre land. This is a new theme park, opened in 2016, has a total of 16 adrenaline-pumping, thrilling and state of the art water rides. It also houses the first human water cannon in Malaysia which is the main attraction. The rides at the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park are suitable for all, from small kids to adults. Apart from the rides, the theme park provides several important facilities such as changing rooms, electronic lockers, special toilets cater for the handicaps, a surau, and even a medic room. There are also cabanas available for rent near the pools. The Bangi Wonderland Theme Park opens every day except for Tuesday, and the ticket prices are at RM 40 and RM 45 per person during weekday and weekend respectively.

How to Get There

By Car

It will take only fifteen to twenty minutes to reach the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park from the town of Bangi via the North-South Highway. If from Kuala Lumpur, it will take just forty minutes to reach the theme park.

By Train

There is KTM train station in Bangi and it is a part of the Rawang-Seremban route. This route is easily accessible via KL Sentral or any other KTM stations. The Bangi KTM train station is just 1.5 kilometres away from the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park.

Bangi Gateway

This is a new shopping place and experience in Bandar Baru Bangi. It is the latest vibrant and iconic shopping destination, suitable for families and young urbanites. This shopping mall has more than 200 retail stores and a vast selection of food and beverages outlets. The Bangi Gateway is a great destination to do a one-stop shopping as it also has a grocer, a bookstore including a music store among other shops. The Bangi Gateway is just under nine kilometres away and it will take around twenty minutes to reach from the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park.

Setia Ecohill Park

One of the best recreational parks in the middle of the city. The Setia Ecohill Park is a great place to spend the day with family. It is a huge park, divided into several playgrounds suitable for both kids and adults. There are also paved walkways that can be doubled as a jogging track. Apart from that, this park also has a huge lawn that is accessible to all. It is a perfect place to just sit back and relax, or maybe have a picnic with family and friends while enjoying the fresh air provided by the abundance number of trees at the park. There is also a small square with a number ‘91’ to show the elevation the Setia Ecohill Park is at and though it is not high, it gives the park a better view of the surrounding area. This beautiful, relaxing park is located just ten kilometres away from the Bangi Wonderland Theme Park and it will take fifteen to twenty minutes to reach, depending on the current traffic. The entrance to this park is free.
