With a total length of 13.5 kilometres, Penang Bridge is no doubt one of the many architecture wonders of Penang. Known as the second-longest bridge in Malaysia and the fifth-longest in Southeast Asia, Penang Bridge is the vital link connecting Penang Island and Perai on the mainland of West Malaysia. The bridge was inaugurated on 14 September 1985 and has been a famous local attraction ever since.
