By Flight

There are 2 different airports in Kedah, an international airport in Langkawi and a domestic one in Alor Setar (Sultan Abdul Halim Airport). You may find numerous domestic flights (MAS, Firefly, AirAsia) connected from KLIA and KLIA 2.

By Train

The KTMB “Senandung Langkawi” train is a daily overnight train that operates all the way from JB Sentral to the Hat Yai Junction in the South, stopping by in KL Sentral, Butterworth, Sungai Petani and also in Alor Setar.

By Bus

From Kuala Lumpur, you can take an express bus straight to Kedah, either to Sungai Petani or Alor Setar. The journey would take approximately 4 to 5 hours to get there.
