I could go on and on and on, but everything in this hotel was top class!”

Tipsuda C. rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “Love the hotel! The location is great. It is next to the river/boat pier and very close to the grand palace. The area is very charming. The staff delivered beyond expectation. We were greeted warmly at upon check-in at night with welcome drink and big smiles. The staff were also able to accommodate with many of our requests: late check-out, iron (for clothes), printing service etc. The room is really beautiful and comfortable. They also have a nice rooftop overlooking the Temple of Dawn. We did not try the meal, so cannot really say much. Will return for sure.”
Zenia A. S. rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “The hotel has a great view of the Temple Of Dawn - Wat Arun. We booked the room which has a direct view of the Chao Praya river and Wat Arun. It was a magnificent and fantastic view. The cafe where we have breakfast also facing the river. Overall it was a great hotel, and we really love to go back to Sala Rattanakosin. Highly recommended!”

Nguyen L. Q. rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “Great location, 10 minutes walking to Big C, Centre World…room is spacious with well equipped kitchen, washing dry machine. The room is very convenient and suitable for family. Great point is that they offer all minibar free and 4 bottles of water per day. F&B is average, service at restaurant is not really good and the food is not delicious especially the pastry is not even as good as in super market. However, the room is excellent, so we will come back”
Mahdi A. rated it 10/10 and gave a review “My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the splendid Sukosol Hotel, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience that left us with beautiful memories to cherish. The moment we entered, we were met with a sense of comfort and luxury. The room was thoughtfully designed and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city of Bangkok. The hotel's room service was undoubtedly commendable, always ensuring that our needs were met promptly and with a smile. The hotel staff ensured that everything was delivered promptly and in top-notch condition. One of the best features of Sukosol Hotel was its incredibly convenient location. Being just a stone's throw away from a Seven-Eleven was a true blessing, as we could easily stock up on essentials or grab a quick snack whenever we desired. Additionally, the proximity to Phaya Thai BTS station and Airport Link was a major convenience, allowing us to explore the city with ease and without any hassle. This strategic location truly made our sightseeing endeavors seamless and enjoyable. Overall, our experience at Sukosol Hotel was nothing short of excellent, and I wholeheartedly recommend this charming establishment to anyone visiting Bangkok. From the friendly and attentive staff to the comfortable and well-appointed rooms, every aspect of our stay was remarkable. If you seek a hotel that combines luxury, convenience, and warm hospitality, Sukosol Hotel is the place to be. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at this remarkable hotel!”

Moreover, it very convenient because there is one 7 eleven near the hotel and 1 BTS station. They also have the coffee and restaurant downstairs and kids room. With service, their staff and receptionist so nice, omg I love them so much. They help me immediately and always smile to me whatever the time I called them. With room, it's so cute, I didn't take the picture of the room but it's so So warmy and comfortable enough for couple or friends. I definitely come back here if I have a chance. I suggest people to come and stay here because everything is amazing.”

PatamapornChaikool rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “Everything was excellent with reasonable price. It locates very close to the BTS station where you can go anywhere comfortably. A convenient store is next to the hotel, and many restaurants around there. The room was clean, bedding was great, and the bathroom was perfect. Public area was good and was taken care by the lovely staff. It will be my first choice if I have a trip near to that area.”

Frederique S. rated it 9.7/10 and gave a review “This is my second stay in this hotel, as I loved my first time last month. Location is great, service is impeccable, the staff are super friendly and courteous. This time as I was staying with my friend, we stayed in a twin duplex room (the first time I stayed with my son in the king superior I think, an awesome room). This room is spotless, design is gorgeous as well, but I was a bit surprised that it did not have any widows except in the bathroom. So it was very dark in the morning and although we tried to block the bathroom door to keep it open in order to have more light we could not. Coffee machine with free capsule is a plus as well as a kettle for the tea. Always enjoy having a great cup of coffee as soon as I wake up. Insonorisation was not as good as the other room as we could slightly hear the others walking in the corridor but to be fair I was so tired it did not bother me so much! The comfortable bed made me forget about it all! Location is awesome, plenty of food stall, pharmacy, 7-11, coffee shop around as well as Robinson and the BTS is 5-10 min away! Basically I love it and I am so looking forward to my next stay early July! My friend loved it too and was surprised to find such a great hotel in this little soi!”
In Bangkok, Thai is the main language, but you'll also find many people who can speak English. This is because Bangkok is a popular place for tourists and businesses from around the world. While some visitors learn to speak Thai, many use English as a common way to communicate.
Learning to speak Thai can be a bit tricky for newcomers because it has five different tones, and the tone you use can change the meaning of words. Written Thai is based on an alphabet that came from Cambodia and doesn't use spaces between words, which can make it challenging to read. However, no need to worry, you'll often find road signs and tourist materials in both Thai and English to help you get around.
One thing to keep in mind is that when Thai words are written using the Roman alphabet, like in maps or signs, the pronunciation might not match how it looks in English. Also, there's no one standard way to do this, so you might see some words spelled differently on different signs.
While most Thais speak the central Thai dialect, there are regional variations. In the north, there's a unique form of Thai, and in the northeast, it's quite similar to the Lao language. But don't worry, most people in these areas can also speak central Thai. The good news is that all forms of Thai use the same alphabet.
