It was a brief stay on my way to take my eldest back to her ‘pondok’ … and parting with her has never been easy. Thanks to very kind and helpful staff members who assisted since I arrived (after 5hrs of traffic jams) up until I had a difficult time ordering a taxi to go to the train station after I checked out. Oh plus the superb Iga Bakar as my super late dinner, a room service menu delivered in a blink. All that makes it a very comforting transit, I must say!

I love really staycation at Harris Hotel Solo. It’s Modern style and You should staying here when visiting SOLO. Specially ask for room with fly over room. You can see mountains of Merapi & Merbabu. I ordered family room which contains 3 single bed. The room is clean and comfort enough. The facilities in the room were complete. I love the breakfast that they are served, it has various menus and it has good taste. Also, The staff over there is friendly. Grand HAP maybe is not a big hotel but the facilities is very complete, there are swimming pool, fitness center and spa. I would stay in Grand HAP if I visit solo again.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. From the lobby to the room was smell so good. The room is excellent with good modern interior design, huge space, and clean. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque view from our Grand Deluxe Room is perfect. The staff are helpful. Thanks to mba Heni - reservation staff, who is very nice and helpful to arrange our connecting room request. I stayed here for 2nites for my birthday celebration at the deluxe room which is very huge compare to other hotel, the hotel greeted us with unique welcome drink & a slice of birthday cake in my room, thanks. Really awesome place, Pak Theo the Duty Manager were helpful as well. Hotel decoration with Christmas vibes really beautiful, would defenitely recommend to everyone to stay here it's really worth the price indeed👍would love to come back again next time I visit Solo.

We love this hotel! Dinner all you can eat was very delicious, clean and safe. Breakfast was tasty. My family like some of the breakfast items very much and we asked for some servings to go and they happily prepared them for us. Very kind and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean. There is a batik shop at the lobby that sells good clothing. We will stay there again when time permits. Thank you.

Grand HAP Hotel
All the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located near to malls and city center with good surroundings. The breakfast has variety and got updated daily.
However, the room I got was kinda disappointing. It got a musty smell to it and the bedsheet kinda makes my skin itchy. Although the shower is quite spacious, the toilet is quite slow in refilling the water after flushing.
I wanted to try swimming but when I got there, the swimming pool was being drained to be cleaned for a whole day. The pool itself is indoor and quite small.

The room, linen, and glass cups were dusty and improperly cleaned. The valet and bell boys were nice and attentive, but the security guard who directed basement parking was impolite and ridiculous. Please improve.

Megaland Hotel Solo
The room is clean and spacious. The hotel is strategically located on the main street of Solo, and there happened to be CFD Sunday right along the street while I was staying. The hotel also offers bike rental so we can bike along the car-free street and around the Palace while enjoying local food and street performances.
