I had a great time staying at Golden Tulip Essential Makassar. It was a spacious bed for twin and I like the decoration especially the bathroom, on top of that the hotel area is very strategic. Near from the main attraction which is Losari Beach (you can take a walk for around 7-10 mins only) and there is convenience store across the street as well with a lot of restaurants around. Overall it was a great value of money, but one thing needs to be improved is most of the staff were slow when it comes to guests request, they need to be reminded frequently to get your request done.

Whiz Prime Hotel Sudirman Makassar
The location is very strategic near Lokasari Beach, some of Makassar's culinary legends are nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful, too bad the room is not clean enough 😑. Overall the staying experience is good and only minor things keeping this place from reaching a full 4 stars.

Empress Hotel Makassar By Life
Location was good, close to Fort Rotterdam! Bed was nice and big only very dirty. All the bed sheets were dirty and there were black hairs in the bed and crumbs. There were no clean towels twice. After insisting that we wanted to shower they were there anyway. The air conditioning works really bad, we could hardly get the room cool. Once a nice hotel, now faded glory. Ojaa, also mold in the shower.
