Crowne Plaza ROYAL VICTORIA SHEFFIELD, an IHG Hotel

It was nice stay especially the staff was really nice and kind. One of staff walked together to show me how I can get to the center. I liked peaceful calm hotel circumstance but it takes 15 min from the city center so I couldn't take a rest when I have a spare time between the meeting.

Stayed for one night. The parking facility is excellent and free for hotel guests. The hotel overall is quite nice. The bar is a great space. The room was large and well equipped, some aspects a little dated but overall we enjoyed it. The breakfast was OK but some of the hot food had gone cold and the coffee wasn’t great.

Room was spacious. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast. Couldn’t asked more.

Fabulous hotel, one of my favourites in Sheffield. The staff are very helpful. The rooms all seem lovely, clean and modern

We had a very comfortable one night stay. Shout out to Sienna at Reception for the lovely and efficient welcome when we first arrived (she was able to allow us to check in early, she asked why we were visiting and was knowledgeable). The next day we had breakfast and shout out to Purna, Alfie and the whole team. GREAT JOB. They all were crazy busy but so efficient and helpful. THANK YOU. oh and we didn't know how to use the room safe and 2 people kindly helped. Nothing was too much bother for anyone. THANK YOU and keep up the great service.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel. The period features are stunning. Our room was beautiful. Great staff at reception & during breakfast. We'll definitely be back. Our room didn't have a great view but that didn't matter in winter for us.

Had a great stay here. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast options, plenty of parking and helpful staff.

We had a friendly welcome and all of the staff gave excellent service. The room was a good size with a lovely high ceiling. The breakfast was delicious and of a high quality with plenty of staff available to help. The main issue was that the room was above the front door so there was a lot of noise in the evening of people talking/shouting outside as there was a function on. There was also the noise of other guests outside the room in the middle of the night. There was a slight issue with dinner being delayed due to a problem with the gas but staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the meal. The first dessert I ordered seemed to have been made with salt instead of sugar but the waitress quickly brought a different dessert. We woul definitely use the hotel again due to the service provided and the friendliness of all staff.

We stayed for one night in the family room. This is our first time staying at Crown Plaza and it’s a lovely experience. The staff are very friendly there from the reception, bar and the restaurant. Room is smaller than we expected but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good quality and the atmosphere at the restaurant is quiet and peaceful. The only thing I might be critical is the Sauna. you have to go through the bar and lounge after you finish. So I feel like we have to dress properly afterwards. But overall it’s a lovely experience and we will definitely visit Crown Plaza in future

We loved our 3 nights here. Very friendly staff and painters! Great old building with historical connections to the railway. Very comfortable room. Easy walk into city and local area being further improved .

It was a comfortable stay and a great birthday treat.

A pleasant experience. Staff eager to please Guests. The Restaurant and Bar Food was reasonable. The Wine offered by the Glass was a Hotel House Wine. A wider choice should be made available.

Room was very big and was clean. Beds comfy and location was perfect.
