Great location Super staff

Booked 2 rooms wasn’t told it was a student accommodation and that people banging around all night , told them my so. Had diabetes and asked about the breakfast if you can call it that a croissant asked if ok for my son got told yes it wasn’t sent him really high should have been labelled up tv was not working as well shame really . If you don’t need your sleep go there if you like your sleep then don’t .

Comfortable bed. Perfectly fine room. Original room TV didnt work so was moved to another room. Two long hairs on floor by toilet! Overall, I was satisfied.

This is ex student accommodation. Room simple but perfect for a one night stop. Decent bed good shower and would recommend!

Unfortunately it was extremely noisy 😕 which really wasn't good for sleeping

We've had a really nice couple of nights at this hotel. It's outside the city, so it's quiet, but a at the same time walking distance to town and it's bars, restaurants etc. Our room was clean, the bathroom as well. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot with good pressure. The minor negative would be probably that there's no kettle and tea in the room, only in the reception area. But it wasn't a big issue. We would definitely stay there again.

Great for the price. Functional room. Good size shower room. Bed was a small double. V close for visiting my student daughter. Coffee and croissant included in the morning.

Perfect for a 2 day business stay. Great staff at the reception desk. Did not expect complimentary breakfast at the hotel. Decent coffee and the pastry selection was good. Fore doors are loud when they close, so ear plugs advised. 10 mins walk to bus stops on Eccleshall Road.

A strang but not totally unpleasant experience! These are old dorm /university rooms being “sold” as hotel rooms. My room was clean, spacious and had an accessible shower room - it was huge and able to accommodate a wheelchair user. However as it was one large wet room, after showering the floor area remained very wet and I had to try and avoid areas which had not drained or dried. Bizarrely the sink was incredibly close to the toilet - any tall person would not have been able to sit as the sink would be in their way! A wheelchair user could also not sit on the toilet be wheeling up to the front, They would have to sit side by sideways … I couldn’t fault the staff - immensely helpful and friendly, I was disappointed to not get a parking space on the Friday evening and had to park down a residential street. A little inconvenient when checking out the next morning, The room did not have any drawers and just lacked shelves or surfaces or similar to put personal items on - there was nowhere at all in the bathroom to store toiletries. A shelf or drawer unit would be ideal. The bed was comfy, the room quite wam in temperature. It was also quiet - no disturbances outside or inside Just the usual noise of doors banging as people came and went and you could hear the toilet flushing in the adjacent room. Nice touch to offer free hot drink and pastry at breakfast. Ideal for a single traveller who does not plan to spend time in the room - ideal for a short stay for the price.

Typical “student” room located within the halls of residence area: bed, desk, tv and shower. Very small but excellent value

Efficient booking. Stayed several times before. Consistent sound experience. Clean room and bathroom. Good towels.

Staff were helpful and great to talk to, and parking was convenient. Actual hotel is a bit of a walk from town centre, so bear that in mind (there is a bus stop within a 5min walk). On the other hand the area was nice and quiet (although I did stay outside of the academic year). Also this hotel has communal kitchens on each floor where you can cook and store leftovers, but there is no restaurant, although the Halifax Hall nearby does if you need a meal.

I was older than the typical college student in town for a conference. I live in another country so I needed a place that was close to the University of Sheffield conference space. What a delightful surprise. Better breakfast than most hotels, extremely gracious and lovely staff, opportunities for all ages. I LOVED the room. Simple, clean, accessible. If I ever return to Sheffield, this is where I will stay. Do not let the low price fool you!
