Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel

Great staff. Lack of power outlets in the room. Cleaning of room was a little hit and miss, we rn out of toilet paper!

Trip for work but a lovely hotel and room is very spacious, and the staff are excellent.

The pool was closed and this wasn’t made clear at booking. If you want a pool, book somewhere else. But the hotel was very nice, the bed fantastic and the staff were professional and polite. Easy check in and check out, would stay again but in the summer when the pool is open

Lovely location, great size room and loved the shower, bed was comfy and plenty of plug sockets, staff were friendly and inviting, would definitely stay again and recommend to others 😊

Very friendly and helpful staff, room very nicely furnished with great amenities such as fridge, kettle etc. but we would have preferred a walk in shower rather than over the bath- water pressure not good either. The single glazed patio doors were old and let in cold air. Apart from that it was a pleasure to stay there.

Staff were very friendly & accommodating. Hotel was warm and comfortable. Perhaps a little tired particularly the bathroom. Evidence of some damp.

Comfortable hotel with excellent breakfasts, convenient restaurant and bar, and great rooms with enclosed balconies in the annex.

Definitely recommend. Excellent staff. Rooms a tad dated but spotlessly clean and tidy.

Lovely clean spacious room with a balcony. The breakfast was fantastic, catered for all tastes and the staff could not do enough for us . We would definitely return

We regularly stay at this hotel and once again we enjoyed our most recent stay. Polite, friendly and efficient staff. Relaxed comfortable lounge & bar and an excellent restaurant.

Friendly staff at check-in, great rooms only let down by zero WiFi signal. Hotel and car park not best suited for disabled people - lots of stair, no assigned spaces in car park - needs addressing

The entryway and main building is lovely. However our room was in a secondary part of the building, was very tired looking and felt more like a residential care home than a hotel. Disappointed as what we paid didn’t reflect what we got.

Our 2nd time staying at Box Hill. Warmly greeted at reception, a small room but had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very comfy bed with good blackout curtains. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant & an excellent choice for breakfast all in a stunning location. We have family in the area & this is becoming our new favourite when visiting.

Pretty basic to be honest. Paid nearly £100 for the room, no breakfast. Slow check in. Pretty rubbish room service, you can order food to room but have to go to bar to order which I didn’t do cos what’s the point in that. Food menu overpriced. Air con not working properly in room - in peak summer. I was excited to stay here but left a bit disappointed to be honest. The pool is nice though.

Lovely large heated pool that’s included in the hotel stay. Nice restaurant.
