Newent Golf Club & Lodges

We were pleasantly surprised as wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Everything was as promised, room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Little extras such as magnifying mirror, room spray and to go breakfast. Really would recommend and we would certainly stay again but for longer. Really lovely little gem!

Clean and comfortable room , the only negative for us was the noise from the water/ shower system and the lack of sound proofing between rooms.

Was as described, room only. Comfortable bed, acceptable bathroom. Came with coffee making facilities, fresh milk, orange juice and a couple of snacks for breakfast. All in all, as expected.

Only a 2-night stay, but quiet, comfortable, convenient, easy to find and in a beautiful setting. Much enjoyed.

Only problem were beds bit soft for us but staff very friendly and helpful

Whilst overall stay was ok, the walls are very thin. Not really overly impressed that weekend was tarnished by being woken at 6am each morning as room next door were up and showering and other bathroom noises for 35 to 45 minutes, No chance of getting back to sleep. However lovely touch with breakfast bags supplied

Really nice stay at the Golf cottage which was very quiet. The breakfast bag each morning was very much appreciated. The lady in the Golf Club was very helpful. All instructions ver6 clear.

Lovely clean and comfortable room with everything you could need. Delighted with complimentary breakfast items. We will return.

Staying for work not the golf got a text from Ian with post code room numbers and what to do on arrival etc.As stated this is room only but the free takeaway breakfast was a nice touch along with the fridge in the room with the water orange juice and a pint of milk in. Rooms spotless with all the information you need for your stay from ordering a takeaway to the nearest pub would definitely recommend this place and I wouldn’t hesitate using this accommodation again thankyou Stephen
