Had a brilliant time went on a Sunday night unfortunately the restaurant was a bit of a let down with a very poor menu and very expensive. We had to drive into Tynemouth to get food. The breakfast was brilliant and the room was fantastic.

Had a brilliant time went on a Sunday night unfortunately the restaurant was a bit of a let down with a very poor menu and very expensive. We had to drive into Tynemouth to get food. The breakfast was brilliant and the room was fantastic.

Our stay was nice but all I can say is if your using this hotel as a quiet getaway rethink it! We where on the first floor above the pool, we where woken up by the sound of what I think would be the music for the water Aerobics. Cleaners hovering at 8:30 at night (at least that’s what it sounded like) or could have been mistaken for someone’s hairdryer - could hear absolutely everything going on from upstairs and the corridor. Food was nice but please reconsider if you’re wanting a quiet stay. It won’t be this, and actually became so stressed because of the noise.

Room was cold. Bar area was dirty with a lots of stacked glasses etc even though it wasn’t busy. Morning breakfast was poor: scrambled eggs were obviously microwaved! Lots of areas requiring re stocking. Lots of tables still dirty from previous guests, stacks of dirty plates etc lying around. Trying for the modern contemporary look but failing in the basic areas. Didn’t use pool or gym so can’t comment.

The stay was ok. The thing that really annoys me is the fact a hotel charges its hotel guests for car parking. I mean come on, talk about squeezing every last penny. It’s absolutely ridiculous that hotels charge overnight guests for parking!

There were nail clippings on the carpet by the bin near the tv! I found this disgusting, not sure how your housekeepers missed them! I told your receptionist and she was very inexperienced and said nothing to me.
My room (114) was next to a staff room, 1 guy just talked none stop from about 5.45am this morning.
The worst stay I have had in 1 of your hotels.

When staying away on business a village hotel is always a safe bet.
Always clean and always have what you need with great facilities too which are well maintained.
The only one issue I always have with village hotels is that their food menu consists of around 95% of their foods containing egg.
As someone with an egg allergy, I could only choose from two items from the menu when eating there and this is the same in all of the ones I have been to.
This is the only hotel that I ever encounter such an issue with regarding food and with being a commercial hotel I would usually expect that something as standard as allergies be accommodated for better.
Other than that, most of the time parking is free (given you enter your reg) and the facilities are sometimes free or an additional £5.
Great hotels and always enjoy staying in them, staff are always friendly.

Prima hotel om te slapen. Bed en kamer helemaal goed. Badkamer een beetje outdated. Miste bekertjes of glazen en een flesje water.
Ontbijt erg simpel en de koffie bij ontbijt is echt slecht.

I enjoyed the stay but was very very disappointed at having a room above the gym as was woken at 8am on a Sunday morning with very very loud booming music coming from a fitness class. This was unacceptable and spoiled my stay.

Great stay as always. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Only issue was the room above us were up at 5am on a Sunday and squeaky floorboards made it sound like a heard of elephants was having party. Will be requesting a top floor room next time!!
