Great location in a safe area close to the Eiffel Tour and Invalides. There are some restaurants in the area but it’s a bit quiet on the street. Overall great boutique Paris hotel in the 7th arrondissement!

Chambre extrêmement petite. Elle ressemble plus à un placard qu’à une chambre. Salle de bain avec toilettes à l’étage avec un escalier en colimaçon très étroit. J’ai failli tomber 2 fois. C’est dommage car les autres chambres sont top.

Vi var en familj på 2 vuxna och 2 barn 8, 11 år som bodde mycket bra i rum 7, en typ av svit med dubbla rum, en överraskande bekväm bäddsoffa i ena och en skön säng i andra. Badrummet hade dubbelhandfat och var rymligt med Parisiska mått. Rummet var enkelt och rent och personalen var trevlig. Hotellet låg bra, lugnt, inte i omedelbar närhet till tunnelbana men 7-8 minuters promenad till olika alternativ som tog oss på ytterligare 10-20 min nästan var som helst i stan. Frukosten var inte stor men ändå bra och vi åt där varje morgon trots ej bokat, hade möjligtvis önskat mer ”salt” mat men det fanns äggröra och plättar. För övrigt croissanter, glas med fruktsallad, baguette, nutella, kaffe/the, honung, juice, yogurt, rostbröd, sylt, litet franska ostar mm. Längs gatan vid närmaste tunnelbanan Vaneau finns ett par brasserier, bagare, caviarhandlare, frukthandlare, slaktare, konditori vilket var väldigt trevligt samt ett par närlivs.

There are plusses and minuses to this property, depending on your expectations. The pusses: the hotel is clean and quiet, the beds are comfortable, the location is convenient to Les Invalides, the Musée Rodin, some wonderful shopping, and a variety of dining opportunities. The minuses for us: the first room we assigned was much too small for two people and any luggage greater than an overnight bag. The manager kindly upgraded us for a modest fee, so be sure you understand the type of room you are getting before you book. The amenities (especially the towels) were not up to the standards of a 4 star hotel. The services offered were minimal (no laundry or dry cleaning offered, for example, no one to help with bags, no concierge service). We know that stars are awarded on a checklist basis (this hotel DID have an elevator, which was much needed), but I would say this was a a 3 star experience, overall.

Stayed 4 nights: there were good and bad aspects: Goods: room and general areas were clean, bathroom was modern and spacious ; room had good amenities- coffee/tea option; mini fridge: bed was very comfortable; nice outdoor sitting area; reception and waiting room was cosy. Bads- No restaurants in the hotel; breakfast only with some drink options; so dining or shopping options were limited; there are a few okay restaurants in the area but most good ones are over 1.4 km, which is walkable but with the rain it was a bit inconvenient. Night staff was not very friendly; our room was basically like an attic with a window facing most of the sky .. so no view of the beautiful city or gardens;

Hôtel du Suède is a gem in Paris St Germain. The area is safe, clean and convenient. The hotel is well managed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully designed. Breakfast is beyond simply food. The dishes are served with art in mind. I will come back whenever I visit Paris.

This wasn't my favorite property and had a way worse time than the other hotel we had during our stay. This hotel is NOISY. We heard the people above us seemingly stomping around for hours while trying to fall asleep. Also the front desk is not staffed appropriately and something seems off with their operations. We came in from dinner on a Sunday night and were hoping to talk to the front desk, however when we walked in there was a line of people trying to get room keys (at 9pm?? were their rooms not ready earlier??), check out, etc and there was only 1 person working. We gave up. There was also housekeeping bags of laundry in the hallways overnight, so I think they are not properly staffed for the size of hotel. Besides this, the rooms were very clean and nice, and not too small, however given the above issues, I will not be staying here again.
