우선 직원분들의 친절함에 기분이 좋았습니다. 로비가 없어 안네데스크와 조식장이 1층에 같이 운영이 된다는게 단점이긴 하나 객실과 조식장 청결도가 좋은편이었어요~ 다만, 엘리베이터가 없어 4층까지 짐을 지고 좁고 가파른 계단을 오르내리기가 쉽지않았습니다.

When I first entered the room, I was greeted by an unpleasant sight—a used teabag on the floor, which immediately made me question the cleanliness of the space. Unfortunately, the worst part of my stay came later that night when I was bitten by bedbugs. This experience was unacceptable and highly disappointing.

Quiet neighborhood and very close to a tram stop which made getting around very easy!

Great hotel. Staff were really nice and friendly. I will stay here again.

Ma chambre était eu rez-de-chaussée, côté rue. J'ai été dérangé par le claquement de la porte d'entrée (jour et nuit) et par le bruit de la rue, très passante (tramway, voitures, travaux...). Le vis à vis aussi était gênant. Il y avait des odeurs de moisis au niveau du mur derrière le lit. Les points positifs: une très bonne literie, une salle de bain spacieuse (grand douche) et beaucoup de meubles de rangement. Le personnel est agréable et le ménage fait tous les jours. La ligne de tramway n°2 (juste à côté) permet de relier la gare centrale en environ 20 minutes. A noter que la photo présentant un magasin "chocolaterie" ne correspond pas à l'hôtel mais au quartier.

The property itself was located pretty well in terms of travel to city centre, however the property itself is in desperate need of renovation, this is definitely not an accessible hotel with the tight, steep staircases. From the beginning of the trip, we were met with a nice staff member that gave us the rundown, house rules etc, which were reasonable, however there was no area for lounging and the back garden was closed off to customers, which I think is a massive negative. We were told our room was being cleaned, which was understandable, however when we got up to the room, we were met with a not clean room, the window sills still had a residue of what I can only assume is old beer, further confirmed with the bottle cap we found on the balcony. Moving from that, the mattresses had what appeared to be a number of stains, which I will assume is urine, but hope it was not. The bathroom is tiny, with the door cut in half so it can fold to close, I could use the toilet and wash my hands at the same time it was that small. The shower head holder was broken and the shower head wouldn’t sit in place, meaning we had to fight with it constantly to be able to have a shower. The old door on the shower made it a nightmare to open and close. Following that, there was no drain cover on the shower drain, so we were met with an open hole in the shower, which was dirty. The toilet brush was also dirty. I would recommend the area for people, however not this hotel

Great spot, relatively central. Just wish you could open the windows more, it can get quite hot and stuffy

there was a problem with the bathroom, an horrible smell was coming out of it. we tried opening the door and the window, it was worse. so we asked the guy at the entrance and he asked the cleaning people who forgot so we had to ask twice. they put something so the smell went away for maybe 12 hours and then it was all back

Loved the neighborhood and how easy it was to get to the city center. Good for a family.

Hôtel dans un quartier résidentielle calme, la réceptionniste est sympathique. L'hôtel et la chambre sont vieillissantes, aucune insonorisation, bruit du tram, des voitures dans la rue, de la télévision des voisins,... à chaque fois qu'une porte claqué celle de la chambre vibré, obliger de la bloquer avec une chaise pour éviter ce claquement. pas de volet, juste un rideau aux fenêtres qui laisse passer la lumière, très compliqué quand on a la fenêtre avec l'enseigne lumineuse qui éclaire la chambre. la douche inonde toute la salle de bain, les serviettes étaient vieilles usées et troués. la femme de ménage est passé tous les jours, pour refaire le lit, que je fessait moi même tous les matins, mais n'a jamais change les serviettes, passé l'aspirateur ou nettoyer la salle de bain. l'accès au coffre de la chambre ou à la bagagerie sont payantes.

I liked the location and the cleanliness of the place. There was a sitting area on the main floor which would have been great for games or eating our breakfast but it was closed for staff only the whole time. That was the only negative thing.

Nettes einfaches Hotel. Lage sehr gut. Fast direkt am Vondelpark. Tram 2 Station 100 Meter entfernt.

The location is perfect, however the steepness of the tiny stairs is really tough to walk up. The room was not so clean unfortunately, we did not have AC in the room but a fan instead (which did not work). However, for one night stay it is suitable option considering its cheaper price compared to other hotels.

It’s a good hotel, not exactly in the downtown but very close to tramway and still walkable distance from downtown (30 min), the rooms are upstairs on a very steep stair, they are very clean. The shower it’s not nice, but it’s clean. I do recommend because of location and price.

very friendly staff, clean rooms, the place is very accessible. it is an old building so it‘s normal to hear loud footsteps of neighbors but it‘s not bad if you‘re just going to sleep at the hotel. it was a nice stay!

Long narrow stairs are ridiculous! We know it’s old Amsterdam, but this is a HOTEL! Surely they can be modified, this is 2024. Surprising they get a permit to operate as a hotel.
