Millbrook Resort

아들과 단둘에 같이하는 여행을 계획하다. 한여름에 겨울을 정취를 느낄 수 있는 뉴질랜드로 결정하고, 주 목적이 스키였기 때문에 코로넷 피크와 가까운 이 호텔에 3일간 숙박하게 되었습니다. 전채적인 느낌은 시골 외가집에 온 듯한 편한한 인상과 밝고 친절한 직원들 그리고 숙소 외부의 목가적인 풍경과는 또 다른 깨끗하고 현대적인 분의기의 실내가 인상적이었습니다. 또한 호탤 저녁 식사를 칭찬하지 않은 수 없는 데요, 너무나 정갈하고 맛있는 식사에 쉐프의 열정을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 다음에는 가족 전부를 대리고 꼭 다시 가고픈 그런 호텔입니다.

유명 리조트호텔로 부족함이 없다. 호텔에 숙박하면 구내의 멋있는 골프장(27홀) 그린피를 할인해 준다. 할인해도 뉴지랜드에서느 최고로 비싼골프장 중 하나입니다.

Staff were amazing, service exceptional and the property was just beautiful

Loved the grounds and surrounds .. Had an 8.10 tee time and would have liked a late checkout to freshen up after the game which was declined so was bit disappointed. The golf shop and staff were very friendly and helpful .. so full marks to them.

This place is fantastic. I particularly love the way the cabins have been built to have a heritage feel yet have the modern facilities.

Absolutely beautiful property. Very quiet .

Borderline fraud situation between Expedia and Millbrook where my confirmed reservation was downgraded to a studio despite a confirmed reservation in a one-bedroom suite owing to Expedia apparently only booking a studio. I was charged an additional fee in order to “upgrade” to the room I had booked and paid for. Appalling Despite this - Millbrook was an amazing stay. Either accept 3rd party bookings or don’t but to disadvantage an innocent customer is rubbish.

Beautiful location and amazing service. Great place to stay to enjoy Arrowtown and surrounds. You don’t need to be a golfer!

beautiful as always. the reduced cleaning green eco-discount (aka Milbrook employing fewer staff) wasn't too much of a big deal but it was a bit of a surprise because we weren't told about it...

such a gorgeous spot in the South Island. We aren't golfers but were still thrilled to stay here. The grounds are gorgeous and the leaves changing color this time of year (early April) were just stunning. Handy location to Arrowtown and Lake Hayes. We walked but you could get a ride if you asked at reception. You can also call reception and get a golf cart to pick you up and take you anywhere on the property. Dinner at Kobe was great. The fitness center was really well equipped and there are even classes most mornings if you want to do Yoga or Barre or Pilates etc.

From collection by shuttle in Queenstown to return journey the service we encountered was exemplary. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, accommodating and all the other superlatives. Our studio was very spacious, with separate walk-in large robe, bathroom with bath and separate shower, separate toilet room, living space with desk, comfy chairs and king size bed, there was an entry hall for hanging coats, etc. Loved that every area had opening windows and shutters or curtains to keep out the cold night air. We liked the heating system, it was quiet and effective. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, stone walls and structures, walkways and tranquility. A number of dining options available, we tried three. The Japanese restaurant was exceptional. Good choice at breakfast buffet and enjoyed chicken korma at the Hole in One cafe. Golf buggy pick up and drop off with bags, free shuttle to and from Arrowtown.

We love Millbrook and had a wonderful stay in a large room, generous bed and lovely staff care.

Great staff and rooms. Beautiful property. Golf course was in perfect shape.

The content on the listing is untrue. Do not expect a king bed or panoramic views. We had two singles pushed together and a view of a hedge and a staircase. Simply not worth the price. Furthermore our bedding had a decent amount of old dried blood in it and was not cleaned off from a previous guest. Very gross and off putting. I would not recommend.

Quiet

Hotel lacks trained staff. Could not answer basic questions including: how to turn off heated floor in the summer, room service hours… Plumbing stopped working for several hours as pipe burst on property. While resolved in several hours, there was no communications that issue had occurred… Keys stopped working and staff criticized us… No air conditioning in rooms and the fans provided on request were delivered by staff who confirmed most of the fans do not work. Rooms need refurb which is scheduled for sometime in the future… Food was good on property. First day of stay was a writeoff due to problems and we had two rooms… management was approached on a make good … offer was extremely low for the issues but accepted to resolve and move on… The property is nice for layout and landscaping… but recommend avoiding this property until they finish refurbishment and have better trained staff that they no longer need to make excuses for…

The check in was muddled. Stay pleasant and comfortable.
