Everyone was friendly and I think that they are doing their best but seem to be understaffed. I think that they are trying to improve.

I liked that it was very clean. I also loved that there wasn't carpet. The laminate flooring was very nice. However, there were a lot of poorly patched holes in the walls, the internet kept disconnecting, the shower curtain rod was almost ripped out of the wall, and the pool was FREEZING cold. The water in the pool looked thick, like maybe more chemicals than necessary where in it. I am not sure, but I wouldn't even consider getting in and my son couldn't handle being in the water for two minutes and that is saying a lot because he is one to jump in a lake as soon as possible after the winter thaw.

I know they’re trying, but they have more remodeling to do.

Please pick ANY other hotel in the area. This place is poorly managed. We had a booking, it was canceled 30 minutes before we arrived. Their website said they had more rooms, so I booked again to prove their website was broken or hotels.com was wrong. For this 2nd booking, we were told we would be refunded. Our hotel room was disgusting, we did tell the front desk we needed sheets/blankets and we had to change them ourselves! our room had hair in the bed, the shower had a used bar of soap. After a long fiasco of checking in he finally got us into this room as explained above. There was a big event in the area for the weekend and there were zero other hotels available. Ive never reviewed another hotel before, please do not stay here or support this company.

This is a very nice clean hotel for the price. It is within walking distance of a nice family restaurant, friendly staff.

The Bathrooms need to be bigger for a larger person they would not been able to shut the door

I chose this hotel for the pool and jacuzzi and they were both verry cold and when we went down to get ice there was none and there was a hole above the AC unit that we could see right outside we had to plug it with a washcloth the screens were all ripped so we could not open the window even if we wanted to so i would never go back to super 8 in hayward WI again

The mattress was beyond its life expectancy, there was a toothbrush on the sink when we arrived and the bath/shower was filthy. I couldn't even take a shower in it. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY

Upon check in front desk gal was on her cell phone during the entire check in process. There was a sign on the pool stating closed so we asked about it and they said it’s not closed. They said it would take a couple of hours to heat the hot tub up if we wanted to use it. The sign was removed the next day so we felt the water in the hot tub and it wasn’t even close to hot tub temp, it was Luke warm at best. Room was nice, but bed very firm, pillows super flat. The plug on the head board on one side didn’t work as the wire was hanging out with the wires exposed with no caps on the ends.

Our bathroom smelled like urine. I attempted to talk to the staff about it but they stated it was the cleaner they used and blew off my concerns. Staff were not at the front in the morning or evening for check in and were putting out breakfast after 6am.

All I can say is that the saying “You don’t always get what you pay for”, is true and I will never return to this establishment.

Well, the staff are horrible. I dont leave reviews typically, but please read this and take warning. Its beyond clear this is under management thats trying to save a dollar. Just dont stay here

The property had some minor maintence needed. Overall the room was clean & comfortable. The staff was very nice.

No coffee maker. No vanity light. Refrigerator not working leaking water all over. TV not working. The staff was aware of ALL of these issues but put us in that room anyway saying “that is the room you booked. My boss is not here so I am unable to do anything for you.” Straight face. Not even an apology. I cried. First I called the desk. No answer. I had to walk over to the other building…and she says oh the issues with your room….she knew why I was calling! Purposely did not answer. Thank goodness it was one night and we got there late and left super early. We travel all over and will never ever stay at a Super 8 again. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. We were not in a main building. Our door went directly outside like a motel. It was just the worst experience I have ever had in my life for a stay. Please don’t read this and think oh it can’t be that bad. It WAS that bad. Please do not stay here. -1000 of 5 stars.

Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Bathroom is tiny. Paint and bed headboard were installed incorrectly. HORRIBLE lighting with no dimmer available. Pull out couch/bed was a joke.(hot squeaky plastic upholstery which didn’t even level out to make a proper sleeping area). Pool was supposed to be heated but was freezing cold.

Very loud conversations late interrupted sleep.

If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would. RUN. This place is an absolute disgrace masquerading as a hotel. I don’t even know where to begin — maybe with the DOOR LOCK THAT WAS LITERALLY TAPED ON WITH RED DUCT TAPE. That’s not a typo. Red. Duct. Tape. Holding the door lock together. The entire door looked like it had been kicked in by the police and hastily “fixed” with craft supplies from a gas station. I didn’t feel like I was checking into a hotel — I felt like I was walking onto a crime scene. We weren't even allowed to check in on time. The stated check-in time came and went while the staff — who were nowhere to be found when we arrived — finally started cleaning the room ten minutes after we were supposed to be in it. When we finally got into the room? Hair on the pillowcases, stained sheets, and that unmistakable “this is not real clean” smell. I don’t know what kind of corners they’re cutting, but I wouldn’t wish this room on my worst enemy. And here’s the kicker: they charged $285 for this hellhole — a place that usually runs $89-109. I get demand pricing for Lumberjack Championships, but a taped-on lock? Dirty sheets? It’s robbery, plain and simple. And when I called to ask — reasonably — for a refund, given the absolute nightmare I just described, I was told no. Not an offer to make it right, not a partial refund, just no.
