The shelf in the open closet was filthy, it had chips and dust all over it. It looked like it had never been cleaned. The bathroom door knob was about to fall off, i didn't want to touch it as it may fall off. I called and someone came up who didn't understand English and didn't do anything about either problem. Also, the water cup in the plastic bag was open. There was not much attention to detail.

I liked the wood desk and end tables plus the lighting was good. The bed blankets were not thick/plush but the heater kept the room warm and comfortable.

It was ok but when I went to get my deposit back they would not give it to me because my account that I paid for it with has issues and I could not have them put it back on that account so they think it is there's now and I can't get it back

I found Two bed bugs in the bedding. Not a giant game changer, but didn’t sleep after that. Changed rooms the next day. Staff took what clothes I had and put them in a hot dryer. Hopefully I don’t bring the matters home. Rooms were clean to say good of.

Booked through expedia, fine. Checked in and was told about the deposit. Also fine. What I am completely not fine with is the charge added without my knowledge or approval for a pet fee. This was a separate charge from the deposit. My "pet" is my qualified and badged service animal. Not an emotional support animal, a SERVICE DOG. When I called to ask about it I was scolded for not disclosing I had an animal. Besides the fact that I was not asked if I had one there is not any easily viewed signage nor anything in the paperwork I had to sign about animals. (I did recheck the front desk, there is one small sign that says something along the lines of "we accept pets, there may be a fee"). It's illegal both to charge for a service animal AND to charge my card after the fact without my knowledge or consent.

BEWARE BED BUGS as soon as i entered the room, it has a strange smell like bleach or chemicals. Couldn’t sleep at night and kept feeling something on me, checked the mattress under the fitted sheet and it was infested with live and dead bed bugs.

The sheets in the room were dirty. When I confronted the desk clerk he was aloof about the problem and didn’t believe me I showed him pictures of what appeared to be dried snot on the sheets he said, those pictures don’t like our sheets, although I guarantee they were. After much talking and denying, he finally assigned me to a different room. When I went into that room it was dirtier than the guest. Although I paid for the room, I ended up leaving the hotel and went to stay at a different property, at new expense.

We were in town for three days and the room worked for a place to sleep. Staff was friendly. Room material seemed dated or reused from a previous update (mis matched a little). The one main issue we had was a lack to "open" outlets for charging devices and the one outlet next to the bed that had USB ports was emitting a high pitched whine/buzzing all the time. So thankfully we didn't have much prolonged time in the room. But was a bit nerve racking when trying to fall asleep. Place was not real secure either due to side entrance being unlocked at all times and having no key in process. But for the price it was about what I anticipated.

Poor lighting. Smoke detector was beeping, and was just told to take the battery out. You could hear the other guests easily... So not very good sound proofing or damping.
