The room was dated and the bathtub wasn’t in good shape, but I’d stay again. The staff and bartender were amazing!!

Great amenities. Happy hour and breakfast were great with fun staff. Did not like having to pay $25 night for parking.

Very old and antique place and having to pay additional for a pricey place. Had a lady do an omelette and it had a hair. Very disappointed.

I can understand why some travelers rate this property lower. It is an old building which comes with its set of challenges like loud heaters and old elevator systems. But overall I thought this contributed to its charm. The staff was amazing, the room was comfortable. We had absolutely no issues. I marked down on cleanliness because in the ice room on our floor, there was a big puddle of water, and there were also piles of dirty dishes in that room. That is the only complaint I have. Overall this is an amazing location and a beautiful property.

Close to plaza. Staff is friendly and accommodating everytime we stay. This hotel is usually very crowded and loud at times, but still worth the stay! Happy hour each night, long hours for the pool and hot tub area. Great hot breakfast

Several cars were broken into, smashing glass and stealing items from vehicles. Very frustrating. Maintenance staff helped get us taped up. We won’t return. No hot water in the shower was also a bummer.

Roaches, and dirty stained carpet, smelly toilet

they can clean the pools and hot tub often and the lady at the front was rude to me. I love the complementary items though my kids enjoyed it.

The hotel was older version and not modern at all. The room was in decent shape except for the bathroom tub....it was stained and gross. The bed was comfortable and clean. I did like the room had a siitting room and a bedroom. The breakfast was very good and had lots of options including an omelet station.

The breakfast buffet was lacking the pool room was cold the Jacuzzi jets where not in working order

No hot water. Older facility in need of repair. Staff was amazing and did their best with what they had to work with.

The front desk staff were super kind and helpful throughout our stay as well as the bussing staff throughout our breakfast! I wish the hotel itself would get with the times, it’s in desperate need of an update and facelift.

Staff was great,rooms are nice but temperatures were hard to reglate,bathroom is small ,nice breakfast,complimentary drinks nice. Things to do close by. Would stay again. Clean and accomadating

We went for new years with some family and had a really good time. Our only complaint was the pools were supposed to be heated and the shallower pool that would of been great for all our kids was freezing cold so everyone came to the other pool they was a little warmer and we had to make sure we all stayed to the side because the bigger kids were jumping into the pool and off the walls and not watching out for the smaller kids.

My family and I spent two nights at The Embassy Suites on the Plaza in KC. The first 24 hours we did not have any hot water. That caused a slight problem when you have 3 teenagers. The reception Hour was not what I remembered in past visits to Embassy Suites. There was very little to chose from the appetizers and the drinks were served in 4 oz plastic cups. With 2 being the limit why bother. Definitely not what it used to be. Next time I will pay a little more and stay at better quality hotel.
