Room was very big and nice layout

Thankfully it was just one night and it was for my husband I. If we had our kids with us we absolutely would not have stayed… the only good thing was that that had a pretty Christmas tree in the lobby. So to start… the only words that the lady at the front desk said to us were “sign” as she flung all the papers at us from behind the window and she was not happy when I asked for my license back… easy mistake but a smile would have been nice. The elevator smelled terrible! The doors to the rooms all look like they were kicked in at one point. Our door didn’t even have half of the lock that latches. The door to the back parking lot didn’t lock… so tha made us feel real safe… There were dead bugs in the bathroom, a hole in the bathroom wall that was filled with toilet paper. There were half smoked cigarettes in the room. Graffiti on the wall. Only one tv worked.. in black and white and it was “snowy” as my grandmother would say so you couldn’t even see what you were watching. The sinks both gave you a shower when you turned them on and we could only get cold water out of them. The towels all had some sort of black stains on them… And we were extremely disappointed that the main reason we chose this hotel was for the jacuzzi tub which we didn’t even use bc it was filthy and looked to be falling apart!

Tough neighborhood area but hotel was fine.

The suite was very spacious and very comfortable. There is no coffee in the rooms and at Gold Star Inn & Suites.

I didn’t like anything about the place. Everything is old. The walls had some holes in them and need to be painted. The ceiling in the bathroom above the shower is nasty, the rugs need to be replaced, and the curtains were ugly. The staff called me asking when I would be arriving and called us before 11 am to tell us it was checkout time. I guess you get what you pay for. I won’t be staying there again.

Hidden gem! Affordable on the weekend. About 20 mins from the casino. Clean. Microwave! No issues.

As soon as we walked into the building, smelt super nice and appeasing as you entered doors. It was super quiet in the building, which was nice. We got into our room and it was super spacious and clean. We got the room the night before a competition at Foxwoods. Was close to Foxwoods as well as lots of stores and convenience stores around. Cons: Outside exterior of building didn’t look too appealing, and smelt at desk where you check in and out and smelt weird in elevator. A lot of Broken outlet covers that someone should invest in replacing, so no accidents occur. Other than that though a 5 star rating for the room itself

Room was nice large. Property in poor condition. Paint coming off walls. Ceiling tiles water stained. Holes in sheets. Towels were washed but stained. No coffee. Could be a really nice place again with a little work.

Very roomy, clean comfortable rooms. Nice shower. Good Wi-Fi connection. Would stay here again.

If you want to go to the casino and want inexpensive worth it. But this was our 1 year annivsrsary. First impression outside was ok tape on on screen quick fix. When entering the room smelled like fish. Had to go to walmart to get sent things. Oven unusable many lights unusable holes in walls windows do not work if you try to use them good luck. Carpets had wet spots. Shower curtain rod falling down. And closets unusable. These are not suites its a quick stay. Glad we were only in there to sleep a few hours and left. Spend the extra bucks for a more up to date place.

The property is so worn down. The whole thing is sketchy and I felt unsafe. The door didn’t even latch all the way, and no one was ever at the front desk. There were so many spiders too. And stains on all of the towels and sheets.

Girl at the desk is very nice. I’ve stayed here 3 times everything was clean except this time the room didn’t look like it was even cleaned. I would definitely still stay here again. The place is old and definitely needs to be updated, but the important thing is there are no roaches or bedbugs. Stay away from RedRoof and Clarion in New London..

Bhumi checked us in and was so kind. The room was huge, clean, and inviting. It was like a little apartment! I'll definitely book there next time I go up to the casinos!

We had a very pleasant stay. If I'd known the room would be that nice, I'd have planned to spend more time in it.

The outside of the building appears to be in very good condition. It looks nice when you pull up. The parking lot is not the cleanest, but it’s not overrun with trash. However, once you go inside, you will notice things like blood stains on the wall ceiling falling in with holes in it. The room was disgusting. The linens on the bed were clearly stained yellow somebody had cooked in their prior to us coming in, so it smelled like old food, the cooktops were not clean. They were filled with grease and the electric range. Top pieces were missing. The wallpaper was peeling. There was extensive mold in the bathroom and it was just not a place that I felt comfortable spending the night so I slept on the couch with a sheet that I had in my car. The rooms did not look like the picture the microwave was on a sagging shelf, so it was almost sideways. I did leave a review on Google reviews under my own name with pictures of it, but I would not stay here again even if I was paid to do so

Booked a room after a concert. Very clean and affordable.

I cancelled early morning on arrival day and was told there would be no refund on a weekend that he could have easily rented for more then he charged me. He most likely did rent the room because I told him I would not be able to use it.
