We always try to stay at this staten island location. We do like the convenience of being so close to the mall and other places to shop and eat. The only issue that we always have here is that it is dated. Chairs and sofas in the room, some carpeting and wall and ceiling touch ups should be thought about. Cloth chairs are simply not hygienic at all. Also, some of the staff, mostly the men, are not welcoming at all. I can say this because we have stayed here several times, and the male front desk employees have been very distant.

Check was fast and easy room was comfortable

There was hair on the sheets & the mattress cover. The room had a weird smell. The bathroom wasn't up to par. Front desk said they were no rooms like mine available so my only option was for the sheets to be changed. I went to go to the Dollar Tree to get cleaning supplies & deodorizer just to be a little comfortable during my stay.

Room service was terrible

The heat did not work in my room. There was only one roll of toilet tissue in the bathroom. The towels in the room when I arrived were dingy and the “fresh towels” that I received had stains and hair on them. The sheets on the bed had stains as well. The iron did not work.

Breakfast food could have been better. Felt sick after eating the sausage. Bacon was way too crispy and broken into small pieces instead of lengths. Coffee was ok, but not great.

Rooms are very spacious and clean.

The property was one of two hotels on the island. They provided breakfast but not much variety.

The only thing I had an issue with is check in time is 4:00 pm. I know guests leave and they have to clean and what not but when I paid extra I was able to get the room immediately and there was only one room left explain that to me???

Staff is friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast options.

Staff at the booking is not curtious as they should be. A little rude and unfriendly. They do not do the room service daily. We have to request them repeatedly to do it even on the 2nd day of stay.

Big room, comfy bed and decent restaurant nearby in Lorenzo’s. 9/11 memorial in the grounds, makes it a bit more interesting to wander around compared to similar hotels. Breakfast was decent buffet-style.

This hotel was not what we expected. Carpet in the hallways stink, housekeeper has to be requested a day before and its only done every other day. Will not be staying in this hotel in the future.
