I had a great check in process. The staff member was super friendly and welcoming! Room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was good! Pool was so much fun in our downtime from the basketball tournament we were in town for.

Great stay, great staff, no issues. Clean bed, hot tub room is the way to go! 10 minutes from downtown concerts! Great job Hampton Inn! Also very warm and inviting with the Christmas decorations in the lobby.

Because my family was attending the tennis state final, we stayed in this hotel. The hotel facilities are average, but the price is relatively expensive, perhaps because of the peak season.

Hotel is not clean. Water pressure in sink in bathroom is nonexistent. Shower temperature is not warm enough. Visible stains on couch in room.
Not up to Hampton standards. Very disappointing.

It has to be one of the quietest hotels ive stayed in. You never know what your going to get with other visitors or loud doors. First time visit to grand rapids and was conveniently located. Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay here. Good breakfast, nice facilities. Rooms were well designed with lots of electrical and charging options. Some construction in adjoining lot but no issue with construction noise.

We plan a yearly trip for my son's birthday. This time we opted to find a hotel with a hot tub and a pool. So we chose Hampton Inn South. Get there and the pool is "closed for maintenance". The rooms were very small and there was only a 1/4 of a window, even though the whole side could have been a window. Wouldn't stay here again.

Switched hotel this time to this one. Only to find out hot tub is “under maintenance”. The rooms had a 1/4 window…not even a full window. Won’t stay here again not impressed.
