The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful, and explained everything very well. It is an older hotel so it is a little worn but it is spotless and the room we had was very large.

The hotel was a three star hotel. It’s rundown my room smelled but for the price it really works out well.

Not bad

I liked how access is easy to get around and how easy it is to access the rooms. Especially with kids.

My room was outdated and the main lobby bar was under construction or repair while I was there.

Nice to stay

I don't understand $24.00 for parking, when we pay for the room and pay at the restaurant also pay to drink in the bar will never go back

The room was very clean

food was great in both restaurants. Service good in all areas. You can tell the rooms are oldfer but are well taken care of and very clean so we had no issues whatsoever and would stay again.

My stay at the Handlery was great! Very peaceful and relaxing environment.Ibwould definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family.

We had stayed here before, so it was great to return. Perfect for our stay and needs. We came around Halloween and enjoyed the decor and the staff’s pumpkin carving contest. So creative and they have a great sense of humor. We like the bar and hanging by the pool before we departed

The chemical smell was overwhelming. I had to check out before my stay ended.

Super noisy and the room had a strong smell

New year’s celebration. Rooms were well kept and the facilities were top notch. Really enjoyed the catering staff. They were very professional yet personable

Old , stairs only to second floors, NO makeup mirrors, refrigerator and a very small bathroom . Separate Buildings more like a Motel Settings, will not suggest it as a place to stay or Eat ! Unfriendly workers…Building needs repair… walkways cracked , paint peeling and old paint, Very disappointing for the Heart of Mission Valley

This is a 2 star motel, not a 3.5 star hotel. Yes it has a nice sized pool and standard jacuzzi, but it’s basically a Motel 6. The maid service and front desk are great. But this motel is super basic, and still charges $24/night for parking ! Rooms are clean. But you walk in the room and it constantly smells like “burnt heater.” The bathrooms have no ventilation either. So you have to open the hotel windows just to vent the room. And it’s cold outside ! I had a hard time sleeping because it smelled like burnt heater (sorry I can’t describe it any other way). But you also had to run the fan and/or open the windows or else it would smell worse. And the weird thing is there is a small refrigerator in between the beds. I thought my ears were ringing , but it was the refrigerator. Also, there are no elevators. And the tv did not have basic picture quality. Thankfully it was a quiet motel. But I also I didn’t like that they give you two small pillows for each bed. I just wish the reviews were accurate, so people know what they are getting into. I’m posting this review, so hopefully it helps someone. Overall we will not be returning. We can find better hotels for the same price elsewhere. Our uber driver said hotels on the other side of the freeway are much better.
