Holiday Inn IRVING - LAS COLINAS, an IHG Hotel

The staff is very unfriendly. I stayed here on a business trip and had to submit an invoice to my company. The day before I checked out, I asked the staff to issue the invoice and was told that it would be issued the next morning. However, the next morning another staff member refused, saying that the invoice would be mailed to me, and the invoice has not been mailed to me yet. I left a question about this and received a very unfriendly and mechanical response telling me to request it from Expedia. I would definitely not recommend anyone traveling for business to stay here. Needs to be remodeled. Everything is old and outdated. Carpet is bulging. Rooms are horribly outdates with hard beds and flat pillows. Towels and washcloths are thin. TV is for a college student dorm. Definitely should have been $120 nightly max.

Have stayed at this location multiple times. This stay was not up to usual satisfaction. I feel like I was assigned a room that should’ve been closed down for minor repairs/maintence. Only stayed one night so wasn’t going to ask to be switched. Made property aware of issues after checkout. Def will stay again!!!

cool staff. front desk was really helpfull and bar tender is awesome! Courtyard was really cool and different than any other IHG hotel.

Checked in hotel and left within 30 mins. Dirty, paint blems everywhere, filthy linens and upholstery. Ended up leaving room and booked a reputable hotel. Waste of $

The mildew smell was strong throughout the 3rd floor but was almost unbearable in our room. Thank goodness for nose blindness. The toilet also barely flushed - you had to hold down the handle for at least 15 seconds. It’s fine if that’s what the reviews and pictures showed, but the impression of the hotel is much nicer. Don’t be fooled.

Perfect location to everything, easy access, very clean and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Clean and the employees were super friendly and helpful.

Everything was good, the Dove soaps/shampoos are great. The only complaint we have is that there were kids on one side of us one night that were super loud, they finally simmered down and we got to sleep, but the next night, there were loud kids in the room on the other side of us, and we could hear them well. I guess the walls are just thin, so if your neighbors are loud at all, you will hear them.

Our initial room smelled like mildew and when we inspected it before putting our stuff down, I found a bug on the pillow. When we notified the front desk, they handled the situation and put us in another room. They were very friendly/helpful though so that made our stay better.

Hotel room was clean and as expected. Service was great and friendly. The area was close to a highway so good if you have a car but limited otherwise.

Place had a bad smell in the hall ways like very old carpet bathroom floors where dirty

The staff was great did not have any hot water for two days bar was closed for 5 days besides that everything was good
