The staff were the best part and the decor in the room was beautiful

Great location if you in Athens for a game, but it is just a place to sleep. There a used cup in our bathroom and the trash can had other peoples stuff still in it.

The staff is so nice and the rooms are clean!

This place is always my go to when I stay away from home.... It's like seeing family again after not seeing them for a while.... I do enjoy not being bothered once I'm in an quiet.... Hot shower.. beautiful bed.... Thanks always Sunshine....

The place needs to be maintained. Walls and doors damaged, bathroom countertop broken. Hallways smell like smoke and weed.

Nice and accommodating staff. Was never up early enough for breakfast. Facility maintenance badly needed - very 'dated'. As a historic landmark it should still be maintained better. Could hear load snorring from neighboring room. Convenient location.

Got there at 6 pm and they weren't sure if the room was ready. The room was very outdated. We could barely get the sliding door to open and close. The outlets in the bathroom were busted.

Room was outdated with mold, water damage, and smelled like smoke. Neighbor smoked all night—awful experience.

The beds were AWESOME!!!! Unfortunately the room smelled damp and musky. It was so humid we had to turn the AC way down just to dry the air out

The pictures that are shared on Expedia are misleading. It was loud and dirty outside. I requested a downstairs room with 2 full size beds and I was not notified that they could not accommodate me until the day I checked in.

First night was terrible. Beth room door wouldn’t close. Remote didn't work. Sliding door off track. People next door up all night very loud, tried knocking on outside door and adjoining door…no luck. Told young man in office, don’t think he understood what I was talking about with remote let alone noise. I called office in the morning and lady moved us upstairs. That room was much better, remote worked and doors closed. Still nit worth the cost if our stay. I’ve stayed in super is much better than this property. Very sad .

Rude housekeeping

This is an older hotel. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average at best. The biggest issue was our slider did not close completely making us feel unsafe. The front desk was pleasant and easy check in and out. We found a handful of screws in the parking lot. We rode in on a motorcycle so this was very concerning. When we told the front desk, she said it was most likely from a work crew staying there and would clean them up immediately.

The rooms were decent inside but the environment was not some place I felt at ease with kids. Both nights, there were groups of men in the parking lot drinking, people partying on their balconies, etc. Our balcony door in 1 room could have easily been accessed from the outside b/c the locking mechanism was worn out. In the other room, my husband had sparks & smoke fly from an electrical outlet beside the bed when trying to plug in his CPAP. This “hotel” is more like a motel type atmosphere & if I had known that prior, I would not have reserved it. It was absolutely NOT worth the price we had to pay for it! Actually almost disgusted I spent what I did on that place when I could’ve went downtown to something a lot nicer for just a little more. The housekeeping staff were nice. The night clerk had a hateful attitude toward all the customers who were checking in that night (not just me) & 2 days later when we checked out, she still had not woke up on the right side of her bed.
